A/N: So sorry for the late update! I'm currently working on a Percy Jackson and Pokemon fan fiction, so yeah. My Boboiboy fanfictions are on hold. But I'll try my best not to avoid this book.
Hold your horses— just because I mentioned the word 'relationship' doesn't mean I'm gonna go to the shipping. I'll talk about shipping later on in this chapter.
There are many types of relationships, the hate relationship, friendship, frenemy, romantic, platonic, etc. But the most common of these are the friendship and romantic relationship, because duh, we all see that in real life!
Now, I'm gonna start with the canon characters' noticeable personality traits in the show;
Boboiboy - Boboiboy is a hard working and a helpful fellow, always helping out people and is always busy— you know, the noticeable superhero traits. He's determined and extremely loyal, but can get scared to scary situations as well, (as seen in Boboiboy Galaxy) he is also always seen as calm, even when stressed. It's very rare to see him explode, he usually tries his best to quickly make up a solution to problems and is a great leader!
Gopal - Gopal here likes to eat, a lot. He gets scared very easily and is often used as the comic relief. (poor child) But! Other than him getting in ridiculous situations and jumping to conclusions he knows how to be brave when he needs to be, even if he struggles at it.
Yaya - Yaya is very smart, she knows how to solve problems quickly and knows how to find quick solutions to problems. She's very kind hearted but can be terrifying when mad, she's also a very forgiving person as well. Extremely competitive when it comes to school related activities.
Ying - She and Yaya shares the same level of intelligence and is also extremely competitive to school related activities, she's very cheerful and an extremely fast talker. (random headcanon by Frost: she loves tongue twisters-)
Fang - In the original Boboiboy series he's often seen as an arrogant sasuke version in the BBB series. He's extremely serious to his mission and very loyal to his friends and his brother, but other than that he's a closet sweet tooth (at least that's how I see him-) and actually has a sense of humor. In the Boboiboy Galaxy his sense of humor is shown often but knows how to be serious in the right time. (He's also still that arrogant alien we all know and love-)
Now, think of your OC's personality and think about why the canon characters would be friends with them and why they would hang out. Maybe they love to eat like Gopal? Serious? Or extremely helpful?
I will use both Leizel and Tristan on this one. Leizel was just a new kid in Pulau Rintis, she didn't have any friends to begin with but thanks to one incident Ying befriended her and introduced her to the gang. And as for Tristan? He wasn't so open to anybody to begin with. But after an incident as well he and the gang began to keep meeting and this made them closer.
I didn't really made anyone hate Leizel but Tristan did had some bad blood with the gang, why you ask? He was an asshole that's why.
Maybe your OC can be close friends with anyone! But if you're going to make your OC and Fang close friends keep in mind that Fang is a hard nut to crack. He goes all defensive and extremely rude as well.
And I'm going straight to romantic relationships.
When shipping your OC with the characters in the original series keep in mind they're only around ten or eleven or twelve(???) in the original series, so I suggest making it a puppy love. Nothing too intense.
But in the Boboiboy Galaxy series? Now that they're teenagers going through puberty, I guess you can throw some kisses here and there (maybe even make them make out for all I care) but please don't make it too sudden! Study their personalities first, jeez.
Finding a reason why the canon character has romantic feelings for your OC can be hard and sometimes it will lead to a cliche as well. So be careful, my advice is to not make them out of character!
