*Bana's POV

Heh~ so these are the Dragon Balls... I've never seen them all gathered like this, but it's always told that something very special would happen when they are. So now we're about to witness that special moment, I see... Gosh, looks like this would be quite a ceremony!

Let's see...

The balls had stars in them from one to seven, and these were put in numerical order from the least to the most. Then, Kakarot came forward and standing over them said in a mighty voice while spreading out his arms:

"I summon thee forward, the mighty dragon Shenron!"

Immediately after that the sky began to darken like it's going to rain as the balls before us glowed; then a singular blast of lightning materialized an Eastern dragon. It had green upper-body and beige on the lower part; four claws, like they ought to be; and a pair of shining red eyes.

"I am Shenron," it said--from the voice, it's male. "You are granted three wishes. State them now, and I will see them fulfilled."

"I might ask just one this time, if that's fine," Kakarot replied. "Could you please tell us about the Super Saiyan God?"

"Well," the dragon remarked, "I do happen to know about it, and could relate so to you."

"Oh, that's great then! You see, Lord Beerus wants to see it so badly--"

"Huh..? W-wait, did you just say 'Lord Beerus'?"

The dragon strayed his gaze 'til he spotted that fox-like figure still looking as relaxed as ever. He greeted the dragon with a wave.

"Hey there."

"Well, uh... very good to see you here, Lord Beerus. What service may I render to you today?"

...

...What the heck with the formal addressing, all so suddenly..? And this from a dragon so sought-after by all, good or bad!

"As Goku told you so clearly, I desire all available information on the Super Saiyan God, where it is to be found, etc; but more importantly, if it would be possible to actually bring it to my presence so that I could taste its might for myself."

"Well you see, sir," Shenron's voice was now rather tense, "I'm afraid to have to tell you this, but this highly-rumored Super Saiyan God is unfortunately not an actual figure at all..."

Beerus directed his gaze again at the 'divine' animal. "...What was that?"

"Uhh... yes, it is just as I said; it's not an actual figure. It's become a stuff of legend among the Saiyans, highly revered. Needless to say, I could not bring forward what did not originally exist--but I do know how to create one!"

"Well, you better not keep me waiting."

"Now, according to Saiyan belief, this Super Saiyan God could be materialized only when five Saiyans of pure heart would come forth, line themselves in a hexagonal shape, so that they could direct most of their energies toward the sixth person standing at the apex. That's about it."

...Seriously? So, being a 'God', this Beerus guy just wanted to meet something which is practically a legend to our race--in other words, seeking his equal?

"...Is that it? You sure you're not being untruthful to me, Shenron?"

"I assure you, Lord Beerus, that is the truth. I have now divulged the how of creating the Super Saiyan God, so perhaps you would wish for something else--"

"Nah," he waves, "just go away--that's my second as well as final wish."

"...As you wish, sir; and please do let me know if I could assist you again in any way."

The Dragon Balls turned to stone, and the sky gradually returned to normal. Most of the people were still milling around where the Dragon Balls used to be--curious as well as perplexed.

"...So what now?"

"Well," Beerus turned to face us again, "here's what. You've been told how to create a Super Saiyan God, and you will now present one to me. I'll go test its might, and that's all there is to it. If he wins, I'll leave this planet alone and as it is; if, on the other hand, he loses, then I get what I came for. Good? Now, I hope Saiyans here are not lacking numbers."

"Let's see..." Kakarot counted, "we have... only five Saiyans right now: Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Gohan, and myself."

Hey, that's rude!! He disregarded my family?!

I was so close to jump in and point out at such a grievous slight, had I not caught Mom's warning stare. Again.

"Got the count wrong there, Kakarot," Uncle cut in. "With one of those three, we shall have six. Of course you'll be the sixth one; in other words, you'll get to face Beerus. I tried and it got in my pride, you see."

"Uh, okay, so who are they?"

"I believe you haven't met my sister's family. They're Saiyans, all right."

"Vegeta, why have you not mentioned this sooner? Said you've only a brother, that's Tarble, and he's far, far away. A sister? Now that's something entirely new, and we couldn't make sure if they are what you say they are--"

"Hey, I'm their closest relative, alright?! I'd vouch for it; and if you're not trusting me now, you're good as gone!"

"Calm down, you two," Aunt Bulma put in. "Your fault for not telling about them sooner, Vegeta."

"What the-- You too?! Come on, woman, you knew that they are what they are, right?!"

"Yeah, but if Goku does not want to include them now, how is that my fault?"

"Darn... I'm just saying that we aren't lacking here!"

"Very well," said Kakarot, "so I'd still have to pick one, right? Let's see now... that woman seems to have the strongest aura of the three. May I know your name, lady?"

"Saui. Good to meet you at last, Kakarot." Mom smiled.

"Wha? You know my name?"

"I believe you noticed, I am Vegeta's sister."

He looked at Mom, then Uncle.

"You... him? Huh? What have I missed here..?"

"Dahh, just get this over with!!"

"Really, Vegeta, you're blabbing off too much," Auntie looked at him with narrowed eyes, "that I'm beginning to doubt whether 'pure heart' would suit you at all. Bana might be better?"

"Tch... spare me that crap. With Beerus as the opponent, I doubt that half-pint's energy would worth anything at all."

"Uh... Dad, I believe you went a little too far there. I could--"

"We could get to this later, Trunks."

"I mean, you're calling him a half-pint but not me? He's two years my senior, see..."

Mom let out a heavy sigh. She cast a look at me and tried to smile. I nodded back, biting my lip.

My bad, I know I haven't trained for quite some time lately... Might just be a hindrance--and Saiyans detest that the most. In other situations I might get removed instead, and no qualms.

"Now then, Kakarot," Mom said, "let's not delay. How are we supposed to do this again?"
