*Bana's POV
Wow... for Mom to get this hyped up, just because she kinda remembered I was brought back to life... She even hugged me, that she rarely did...
You know, she could be sweet after all. Been a while since I've seen such expression of tenderness, though, that I could not help flinching inwardly.
Such Saiyan gentleness... and warmth~
At length, we broke off.
"Say, Mom..."
"I'm here."
"You know, might be a good idea for yourself to try and get in shape as well; have your own private spar, maybe? Say... 'gainst Uncle?"
She smiled and seemed to think about it.
"My brother's eyes are now fixed more on Kakarot than me; he may have started training again. Me, I'm just a housewife now--"
"A Saiyan housewife won't be half as bad. Fact is, if Uncle's gotten stronger, why couldn't you?"
"In any case, things have changed. If you still want to have that spar with whomever you see fit and on whatever time, go ahead and do so. Should I later opt to do the same with Vegeta or anyone else I see fit, such would be my own personal affair; and you ought not dabble in that. Clear?"
"Be that way." I stood up. "Just wanna remind you, though: you've done your utmost to train me thus far--wouldn't be fair not to do so yourself, now that things are a lot calmer. Right?"
"Noted, Bana, thanks for the reminder."
Geez... I hope Mom's not going soft too soon...

A new day.
Alba has somehow turned up more cheerful and open. We even lunched together in one table.
"So, did it get to rain at all?"
"The prayer's answered--it did not," she smiled. "By the way, Bana, so sorry for having been all that gloomy. Must've affected you too, somewhat."
Hmm... not that I care much, but okay...
"But anyway, there's a reason why the dead does not get back here, you know. Wanna hear?"
"Mm-hmm, if you don't mind."
"Because they are already happy where they are!" she leaned forward with some excitement. "My mama told me so."
"Good to know." I munched on another bit of cold chicken. "That's why you are so cheery right now, eh?"
"Why, yes! If they are already happy, there's little reason for me here to remain gloomy."
"I see. Good for you."
"I know! Thanks!"
Then again, lots of people died in those days... including me, if what Mom had said was true. I wonder if there had been anyone else on the Lookout who cared enough to spill tears for me, aside from my own parents?
Ah, which reminds me... if I had really died, why not try to figure out just what happened during the lapse? How was it before we finally got around to deliver the final blow to Bad-Buu?
If my cousin does not know this, I could not imagine who else does; and I'm bound to meet him later today. He better not forget the time!
"Say, Bana, would you please be in my group for the next Math class? Could use a brain like yours~"
