Still day one of the Unit Cup and everyone is super hyped after The Sogen Sister's performance, Steam is up soon and they're fitting in some last minute practice before they go on and Kibo and I were going to check up on them.
"I wonder what they're going right now," I said as we walked down the halls
"I bet they're arguing," said Kibo "Hikari is probably trying to get her to wear Fuwa Fuwa Dream or something,"
"I don't know about that," said Manga as she and Daiji walked over "I saw them perform once and they were awesome,"
"Hey guys!" I said "You were really amazing out there!"
"Thank you," said Daiji, blushing "I hope you two do great as well,"
"Huh?"
"Aren't you two performing together?" Manga asked
"Uh ... well we were going to enter," said Kibo "But ... we changed our minds,"
"What? Why?" asked Daiji
There was a long silence that followed before I answered "We couldn't think of a unit name,"
We knocked onto the door of Steam's dressing room. "Come in!" said Hana's voice. We obeyed and went in.
"Hey!!" said Manga
"Hello!!" said Hikari "Hikari saw your performance and thinks it was KAWAII!!!"
"Uh ... thanks, I think,"
"So what's going on here?" Kibo asked
"We're just practicing our song," said Hana "Nothing much,"
"Have you decided on your coords?" I asked, thinking about Kibo's earlier comment.
"Yep! I'm wearing the Marchen Lollipop Coord!!!" cried Hikari
"And I will be wearing the Shahriyar Blue Coord," added Hana
"KAWAII!!" Hikari cried
"So there haven't been any ... arguments?" Daiji asked
They shook there heads. "You want to know why we chose the name 'Steam'?" Hana asked
"Well ... sure!" said Manga
"Steam is created when heat and cool is mixed together. Fire and rain. That's what we are, polar opposites ... but we make something new,"
"Isn't that just KAWAII!!" said Hikari
"Sure ... let's put it that way," I said
Later Backstage ...
"Steam! Rising Higher!"
As the two performed Glittering Messenger we all watched in awe as they performed in such perfect sync. And they were such a great pair. With Hikari's fiery cuteness and Hana's sexy coolness mixed together it made ... Steam!
It was time for the judging for the Unit Cup! We all stood in the audience, being torn apart of who to cheer for. "And the winner is ... STEAM!"
"Yes! We did it!"
The Unit Cup was a bit lame
