On January 10th, Ashton returned to the ranch. He pulled up to the house and got out of his truck, grabbing his bags. He looked toward the house and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at the fact that none of the dogs had run out to him like they usually did. He hiked his bag up onto his shoulder and walked to the house, going inside. He turned the light on and nearly jumped when he saw Harley standing in the foyer. "Jeez, babe, what are yo-." He cut himself off as he read the words on the small cardboard sheet Harley held.

"Welcome Home, Daddy!"

"Welcome home." Harley smiled softly.

"Y-you got the results?" Ashton dropped his bags to the floor.

"The baby is yours, Ash." Harley smiled, letting go of the cardboard to hug him. He wrapped his arms around her securely, his heart racing as he felt her protruding bump against his own stomach.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that." Ashton chuckled, holding Harley close to him.

"I've had the results since the day after you left, but I wanted to tell you in person." Harley giggled and kept her arms around him.

"This is the best news I've ever heard." Ashton grinned and cupped her cheeks. He pressed his lips to hers and brought his hands down to her bump. "Have you told anyone yet?"

"The only ones that know are Luke and Michael, but they don't know it's yours yet." Harley explained. "I wanted to wait until you were home to tell everyone."

"Where is everyone?" Ashton asked, picking up his bags again. Harley walked with him to his room and took a seat on his bed.

"Tyler and Michael are out fixing the tractor, Hannah's in town getting some groceries and things, Luke and Calum are at the bar." Harley said, rubbing her stomach. "The baby kicked when you were gone. A lot."

"What? Really? Why didn't you call me?" Ashton knelt in front of her, placing his hands on her bump.

"I didn't want you to be distracted from your time with family." Harley placed her hands over his and moved them down to where he could feel the baby kick. Tears filled Ashton's eyes as he felt the soft thump of the baby moving.

"That's my baby in there." Ashton whispered, wiping his eyes.

"It is your baby." Harley giggled. "Let's get your bags put away before everyone gets home for dinner."

"Ashton, how was your trip? Did you have a good time with family?" Tyler asked as Harley served dinner to everyone.

"It was really good to see them all again. I missed them a lot." Ashton smiled. "Thanks, honey." Ashton smiled up at Harley.

"So, are you two, like, official now?" Hannah asked, looking at Harley as she sat down.

"Uh, yeah, we've actually been official for a few months."

"You didn't think to tell us?" Hannah furrowed her eyebrows.

"Y'all thought we were official anyways, so we didn't see the point in telling you." Harley shrugged and started eating.

"How have things been here?" Ashton asked, changing the subject.

"We've had 3 tractors break down since you left, and the red truck. Michael and I have spent all day every day working on them." Tyler sighed. "Hannah, baby, can you get the wine from the fridge?"

"Yeah, sure." Hannah smiled and got up, grabbing the wine and a few glasses. She set the glasses down and filled them.

"Oh, uhm, I don't want any wine." Harley said, pushing her cup away.

"What? It's peach moscato, your favorite." Hannah looked at her confused. "You never turn down wine."

"Well, tonight I am." Harley shrugged and continued eating her food.

"What's going on? Are you feeling okay?" Hannah asked. Harley shared a look with Ashton before she sighed.

"Okay, I've got something to tell you." Harley stood up from the table. "I, Harley Quinn Davidson, am pregnant." She lifted her shirt, showing off her bump.

"You're pregnant?!" Calum yelled, widening his eyes.

"How far along are you? You already have a bump." Hannah looked at her bump.

"I'm about 6 months along now." Harley explained.

"And, you waited until now to tell us this?" Tyler asked, standing up angrily.

"Hey, she had a good reason to." Michael interjected.

"Wait, you knew about this? Who else knew?" Calum asked, looking around.

"Me, Luke, and Michael knew. Luke and I were there when she found out."

"Is this why you took so long at the hospital with the pneumonia?" Hannah asked, looking at Harley.

"Yes, it is." Harley sighed.

"Do you even know who the father is?" Tyler snapped, crossing his arms.

"Yes, asshole, I do." Harley scoffed. "It's Ashton." There was a collective gasp from everyone in the room.

"Surprising you actually knew who the father was." Tyler rolled his eyes.

"Hey, stop being a complete dick to me." Harley turned and looked at him.

"I'm not, I'm just being truthful."

"You're being rude, Ty. She's pregnant now and there's nothing you can do to change it. We just have to be good surrogate grandparents." Hannah hugged Harley gently.

"Thanks, Hannah." Harley smiled as she hugged back.

"Do you know the gender yet?" Calum asked.

"We don't yet. The appointment is February 13th." Ashton explained. "I'm hoping for a boy, but Harley wants a girl."

"There's just not enough girls around here." Harley pouted.

"I agree, my wish is a girl, too." Hannah smiled.

"I don't care what the gender is, I just want to be the godfather." Luke shrugged.

"No way, I'll be the godfather." Michael crossed his arms.

"Hey, the godfather will be whoever Harley and I decide it should be." Ashton laughed. "Now, let's finish dinner."
