It was Ashton's birthday. He wasn't expecting to get the phone call, none of them were. At 5:30 that morning, his phone rang. He didn't recognize the number, so he let it go to voicemail. After a few minutes, the notification popped up telling him he had a voicemail. He held his phone to his ear and let his eyes droop closed.

"Hello, this is Miriam Jameson at Nebraska General Hospital. I'm just calling to inform you that your daughter, Sydney Marie Irwin, is being discharged today. Please come in at your convenience to fill out the necessary paperwork and to take your baby girl home."

Ashton sat up quickly. "Harley, wake up." He nudged the sleeping body next to him. She whined and pulled the blankets tighter around herself. "Harley, we can bring Sydney home today!" Ashton yelled. Harley shot up and looked at Ashton.

"You're joking." She stared at him, waiting for him to tell her it was a prank.

"I just got a call from the hospital. We just have to fill out the paperwork, and probably pay a little bit of money."

"Ashton, we don't have a car seat yet. We haven't baby proofed the house. We don't even have her crib built yet!" Harley ran her fingers through her hair. "We aren't ready for this."

"Hey, it's fine. We can spend a few hours getting the house ready, I'll go buy a car seat, Luke and Michael and Calum can build the crib."

"Ashton, we don't have time for this today! It's your birthday, we're supposed to be celebrating!"

"We are! By bringing our daughter home!" Ashton got out of bed and walked to his bathroom. "It's been almost 3 days since we've seen her."

"I know, but they told us it probably wouldn't be until the end of August that we'd get to take her home."

"She's just so good, she got done being sick and weak earlier than expected. Now get up and start getting ready." Ashton took his boxers off and got in the shower. Harley walked into the bathroom.

"What if she doesn't like it here?" Harley asked as she pulled Ashton's shirt off her body. She pushed her thong down and got into the shower with Ashton.

"She's gonna love it here, because we're here." Ashton smiled and kissed Harley's nose.

"It doesn't even feel real." Harley wrapped her arms around Ashton's neck.

"I know, sometimes I think it's all a dream." Ashton wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him, under the water.

"A dream come true." Harley smiled and pressed her lips to his. Ashton slowly rubbed his fingers over the scar from her C-Section as they kissed.

"Feels like yesterday we were just finding out about her." Harley whispered, pressing her forehead against his.

"I still can't believe everything that's happened." Ashton whispered, kissing her deeply. She tangled her fingers in his hair as their lips moved together. Ashton lifted her up and held her against the shower wall. He brought his lips to her neck and sucked gently.

"A-Ashton." Harley moaned softly, gripping his hair. He nibbled on her skin, causing a gasp to fall past her lips. "We haven't done this since we found out I was pregnant." Harley whispered.

"It's been far too long." Ashton groaned, grinding into her. She moaned and tilted her head back.

"Then fuck me." Harley gasped, rolling her hips against his. Ashton held her close as he thrusted into her. She moaned loud and brought her hand down to his bicep, gripping tightly. "Oh, God, fuck."

"Been way to fucking long." Ashton groaned as he gripped her hips, pounding into her.

"Oh, my God!" Harley moaned louder, arching her back off the wall. "Please, don't stop." She begged, the familiar knot tightening in her stomach.
