That drawing on her skin.
It's a semicolon.
To show that she is a survivor.
Along with him.
And her.
And yes,
Even me.
We wear these to show that our story isn't over.
That we could have stoped it.
But chose not to.
So when you tell me,
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I know.
I've heard that line so many times before.
So has every other person whose thought of it.
But I no longer think of it.
I am a survivor of my own thoughts.
No need to worry about me,
Because I am finally free.
