First Year

Chapter 3

Hermione's P.O.V
I woke up to someone hugging me around my waist. That was until all the memories came flooding back to my mind. Really I fell asleep on Draco's shoulder and he didn't wake me up.

"Morning 'mione" Draco said groggily. I turned his way and he smirked at me. "Draco why didn't you wake me up and you can let go of my waist now." "But my hands like your waist though and I didn't wake you up because I am nice." I laughed at his stupidness and he sat up as soon as I did.

"Kids you ready for breakfast," said Draco's father . We sat up and went to the kitchen to see our parents smirking at us. "Wow you two get along really well for people who have just met," said my dad. I walked over to him and stepped on his foot and hard. "Hermione was that for," My father groaned. "That is what you get when you assume things and make a joke out of it," I said quite cockily may I add.

"Remind me not to get on her bad side," Draco muttered to his father. I turned his way and raised one of my perfect eyebrows. He looked down and I laughed at him. I can not wait till we go to Hogwarts which might I say was tomorrow.

*Time Skip to next day*

Draco's P.O.V

We were walking to the barrier by we I mean me and Hermione. Hermione never seems to not surprise me because guess what she was wearing. A three quarter top high wasted ripped denim shorts and a pair of white converse high tops. While me on the the other hand was wearing a black t shirt skinny jeans and a pair of black Nike's. We reached the barrier and we looked at each other "Together," I muttered to her "Together," she muttered back. I grabbed a hold of her hand and we ran through the barrier together. Our fathers had our trunks in the pockets because they shrunk them with a spell. We hugged our parents and then we went back to holding each others hands. We waited for Theo, Pans, Crabbe, Goyle and Blaise before we hopped on to the train. We found an empty compartment and sat down altogether. Hermione and I were still holding hands.

Theo's P.O.V

We walked in where Draco and Hermione were waiting for the rest of us. I guess I was the only who noticed that they were holding hands. I ended up putting to the back of my mind. We walked onto the train and found a compartment together. "Ok Hermione I have one question," Pansy asked. I was now curious at what the question was because my curiosity got the better of me. "Ok ask away," was Hermione's simple reply. "What was it like growing up with muggles?" was Pansy's question. "Well they are inferior but they make the best clothes and the best shoes. Look at Draco he is wearing a pair of muggle shoes but they look amazing don't they," said Hermione. Everyone instantly looked at Draco's shoes and they were indeed a pair of muggle shoes but she was right those shoes were amazing. "Hey Pansy what shoe size are you?," asked Hermione. "Size 6 why?," Pansy asked. "Oh Just because you have a pair of my pure black converses because we are the same size." Hermione replied.

Pansy stared at Hermione wide eyed and Hermione just smirked at her. "Hermione I can't," Pansy said still wide eyed. "Pans serious it is Ok I brought two pairs ok,"  Hermione said shaking her head. Pansy finally gave in and she sighed. Hermione just smirked in victory. I guess I was still the only one who noticed that Hermione and Draco were holding hands. I scooted closer to Blaise and whispered to him so no one else could hear me "Blaise am I the only one who has noticed that Hermione and Draco are holding hands." He then looked at me then and looked at their hands interlocked on the seat. "No I did not until you just pointed it out to me weird," He whispered back to me.

Hermione's P.O.V

We were having a great time until a girl came up to the compartment. "Have you seen a toad a boy named Neville's lost," She said I think her name was Tiana. I ended up cutting Draco off by saying this "Does it look like we have a toad in here you may want to run along before I stop being nice," Her eyes widened at my reply and she scooted off real fast. I smirked at the open door where she was just standing. "Wow that was you being damn I do not want to get you angry?" Blaise said. "No that was me being a little less then nice. I am being nice to you guys anyway so let's be realistic." I said back to him. He nodded his head in understanding. "She stepped on her dad's foot yesterday it was funny," Draco said. I smiled in memory of yesterday.

"And do not ask why I did it I had very good reason to do it anyway," I said. They all replied OK in unison. All except Draco because he was there when it happened. I looked at my watch and decided it was time to change in to our robes. "Hey guys we should change into our robes now," I said and all the boys left with there robes which left me and Pansy to get changed. I handed her the converses while I got ready as well. We all got settled back to our spots and as soon as Draco sat down our hands found each others and our interlocked back together again. It was then I realised that we hadn't stopped holding hands since we got on to the train.
