Chapter 6

Hermione's P.O.V
We walked to the quidditch pitch ready for the flying lesson. "Welcome to your first flying lesson now walk up to the right side of your broom hold out your left hand and say up very firmly," Madame hooch said.

I walked up to my broom and said "up," lazily and it instantly flew up to my hand. I looked at Draco and smirked in his direction he smirked back as we were the only two who had our brooms in our hands. The next person who had their broom in their hands was bloody potter.

"Now that you have all got your brooms I want you to mount your brooms kick up from the ground hard and then lean forward and touch back down," Madame hooch said. We all mounted but before we could get anywhere the boy I believed to be Neville Longbottom flew up into the air and lost control of his broom.

He was zooming through the sky "lean forward," Madame hooch said frantically. He tried but as he did he zoomed Straight her way and she ducked out of the way.

He fell of his broom and as he was falling his pathetic Gryffindor robe caught him. I sighed disappointment and so did Draco unlike every one else on Gryffindor who sighed in relief.

His robe didn't hold him any longer and he fell on to the ground. I felt sympathetic but I also felt like laughing but what can I say I am a Slytherin.

I walked over to Draco and pointed to the thing that had fell out of Longbottom's pocket. I couldn't care less about the fact that Madame hooch had specifically said if she finds any one on their brooms that they would be out of Hogwarts before they can say quidditch.

Draco and I walked over to the remberall. Draco picked it up and deviously "I might keep this one it serves Longbottom right for ruining flying for me." I looked at Draco and nodded in pleasure.

Of course the only person who had the guts to say anything to us was Potter. "Give it here Malfoy and do not let your girlfriend get involved with this," this got me riled up. I looked at him wide eyed and than a mysterious plan popped into my head.

Draco walked over to me because he instantly knew what I was thinking he wrapped his hands around my waist and hugged me from behind. He put his head on my shoulder "so what if he is potter are you jealous or something," I said and smirked as he had nothing to say in return.

I instantly went through with the plan and turned around in Draco's arms and I did the unthinkable I came close to his ear and said "thanks for that I needed it just keep playing along and we might be able to get him riled up enough."

"Ahhh no come back there potter looks like you do like my girlfriend well then I suppose this is revenge enough," Draco said and he through the remberall as far as he could. Potter got on his broom and zoomed after it. Luckily he caught it just in time before it  went through Mcgonagalls classroom window.

I was actually impressed by his skills but I would never admit it. Mcgonagall mush have saw what was happening because she came up to Potter "Come with potter," she said in her light but intense voice. He followed and he obviously thought he was going to be in trouble. He looked scared and took in his expression because it was so funny. He looked like he was going to throw up which in my opinion would have been hilarious.

Madame hooch returned and by the time she did class was going to be over in five minutes anyway so she just gave us a few minutes to prepare for our next class which happened to be charms.

"Remember move your hand like this you could say it was like a swish and flick," professor Flitwick said. He then said the incantation "Wingardium leviosa now you try with swish and flick."

I did the movements while saying "Wingardium Leviosa." My feather was the first one to to levitate and then Draco who was then followed by Pansy, Blaise and then Theo.

Professor Flitwick then noticed all of our perfectly floating feathers "well done ms Townsley, mr Malfoy, ms Parkinson, Mr Zabini and Mr Nott 5 points to Slytherin for all of you," all the Gryffindors groaned and I smirked in triumph.

All was good until Weaslbee opened his stupid mouth and said in front of the whole class "Bloody teachers pet and has to get her stupid little boyfriend to help her with everything." I opened my mouth and said "Weasley you are going to regret that," I was about to get out of my seat until Draco literally had to get in front of me to make sure I didn't beat the life out of him.

"See everyone protected by her boyfriend again," he snarled and with that Draco got really mad "Look Weaslbee do not say that otherwise you are the one who is going to get it from both of us and that will be fun for us not so much for you." He snarled back at him.

"Mr Weasley 10 points from Gryffindor for false accusations it is quite clear that ms Townsley has read the book unlike you so please do not call anyone out again," professor Flitwick said quite angry.

I glared at him and Draco went back to his spot sitting next to me and interlocked our fingers for comfort. I instantly relaxed and sighed and scooted closer to him so I could whisper in his ear "Thank you, you really do know how to calm me down when it comes to things like that." I kissed him on the cheek in response and kept our hands interlocked. He looked at me with a slight blush on his cheeks and I thought it was so adorable.
