Chapter 8

Draco's P.O.V
I was startled when I heard the girl I was just day dreaming about abruptly say something. "Hey Draco have you noticed that the Gryffindorks are acting kind of stealthy these days I want to find out what they are trying to hide you in," she said in her delicate gorgeous voice.

I was thinking about what she said I was looking in her deep brown eyes. Her eyes staring at my steel grey ones. I was just trying to observe her expression and I knew she was dead serious.

"Sure where do we start first 'mione?" I asked the beautiful young girl standing in front of me. She walked up to me and whispered "Well first we get the whole gang in except Crabbe and Goyle and then we simply observe and figure out what they are saying." She whispered in my ear. As she left I could feel my heart sink again because and I also became very flustered I just hoped she wouldn't notice.

I was flustered an I have no idea why as well what this girl does to me and she doesn't even realise. "I will get Blaise and Theo you get Pans OK," I said trying not to sound flustered but I clearly was. She nodded in approval and with that our plan was in action.

Blaise's P.O.V
I was in the dorm doing some studying for the exams that are coming up. I was about to write something until Draco came and said "I need to talk to you and Theo asap," he was clearly flustered and I could see it.

"Hey guys," Theo abruptly stopped his sentence and eyed Draco "Draco why are you so flustered," Draco groaned and Theo laughed at him.

"What happened bro you can tell us," I said trying to sound smooth but it didn't come out exactly as I wanted it too. "First of all Hermione said that she wants to follow potthead, weasel and mudblood around to find out what
they are planning. Secondly Hermione whispered in my ear that we can only know and pansy no one else and I know you are wondering why I am so flustered it was because she was in such a close proximity to me," Draco said letting out a breath.

I laughed at him and he sighed "I'm whipped aren't I," I nodded in approval.
"More important matters who are you taking to the Malfoy Christmas ball?" I asked. "I am clearly taking Pansy and he is obviously taking Hermione because well you can guess," Theo said an Draco stood up and threw a pillow at him.

I laughed at the two they do this all the time. "So you guys in," Theo and I nodded our heads in approval. Draco just through another pillow at Theo and that is what started the Pillow wars between Draco and Theo. I do not know how I am supposed to live with these two for the next seven years.

*nine o'clock at night while everyone else is in bed*

Hermione's P.O.V
I got mine and Draco's parchment that me and Draco have been using every other night.

Hey Draco

Hey Hermione

Is Theo and Blaise in on the plan

Yeah they are what about pansy

Yeah she is

Draco can I ask a question

Sure

Why were you so flustered today

Ummm.....errrr I was just a bit sick

Oh are you alright

Yeah

Good

I have to ask you something tomorrow

Ok why not now

Because it has to wait until Tomorrow

Ok fine it better be good

Oh trust me it is

I put the parchment away and tucked myself into bed. I did not go to sleep straight away I guess Draco doesn't like me. After that horrifying thought I went to sleep with out another word.

Draco's P.O.V
I woke up to someone shaking me. "Draco wake up the train leaves in twenty minutes and you still have not asked Hermione to the ball," said a very stressed Theo. Luckily for me I packed last night so all I had to do was haul it down to the train.

I went to the common room where I found Hermione reading a book. I hugged her over her shoulders. She turned around and hugged me back.

"Hermione so I was wondering if you would go to the Christmas ball with me," I said and gulped I was really worried about her answer. She didn't say anything and when she jumped onto me an hugged me really tight.

"Yes of course I will," she said and my heart fluttered I think she might like me back. "Well we better get on to the train before we miss it," I said and she laughed at me. She put her hand in mine and our fingers interlocked. We went to the train and saw the rest of our friends waiting there.

We smiled at them and they smiled back we hopped on to the train and found an empty compartment. We sat down and I knew I was tired but I didn't mean to fall asleep on her.

Hermione's P.O.V
I was startled to see Draco's head in my lap. I was self consciously playing with his blonde locks while I was in deep conversation with Pansy. Who happened to have a sleeping Theodore nott in her lap. We were talking when she noticed Draco sleeping in my lap.

"Looks like we have to little love ducks," she said and I laughed at her comment. Draco shifted and said "am I love duck now," it was more of a question then a statement. I was startled by his movement and stopped playing with his hair.

He groaned and said "Hermione why did you stop playing with my hair it was comforting you know." I laughed at him and continued playing with his hair. "Did you not have time to style your hair this morning," I said and he laughed.

"Yeah but from now on I am leaving it loose because it feels better and this way you can play with my hair more because it feels nice," he said and I again laughed at him.
