What if Princey wears glasses but he's ashamed (cause a Prince has to be perfect) so he wears contacts?

Roman scribbled down ideas for the next video, writing line after line. He would read one line, cringe, then erase. A process that repeated over and over.

He lifted his glasses that were slipping off his face. Roman always had glasses but he never used them, only in private. Patton and Logan had no problem with wearing them, but it felt strange for him.

A prince wearing glasses? He had a title to live up to of being absolutely perfect in everyway. Even though it was a painful burden. That was just how he learned it.

Roman scrunched up a paper and threw it behind him, the ball landing into the trashcan. Perfect as always. People would say not to complain about having a great life, but you can't force happiness.

The door was pushed open, Virgil's head peeking in. Roman hadn't come out of his room all day, he was worried about the older trait. Did he feel sick? Was he struggling with something?

"Roman, are you okay-"

Prince quickly turned around and gasped. He grabbed his glasses and threw them across the room. (Me when I read fluff)

"Yeah? Yes? Hey, I'm fine. Um, what do you, w-what do you need?"

Roman tried to play it off, leaning into his desk. The sudden movement caused him to wobble and fall off his chair, dropping a stack of papers with him. (Gosh, dude same)

"Oh my god"

Virgil rushed over and helped him up, fixing the chair. Roman would have smiled at him, if he could see him of course.

"Hey, thanks. Sorry about that."

Roman tried to focus his eyes but all he saw was a blur. He really wished he hadn't thrown his glasses. (*screaming cause what if they broke*)

"You, you wear glasses?"

Virgil tilted his head, smiling softly. Well, Roman hoped he was smiling.

"Um, well, I-"

Roman bit his lip, sighing.

"Yeah, yeah, I do. I hate it, but what can you do?"

Roman shrugged, crossing his arms.

"Well, I think they look good on you."

Virgil quickly ran across the room and  retrieved his glasses.

"You should wear them more often."

Virgil placed the glasses onto Roman, fixing his hair. A blush covered both their faces.

"You think they look, good?"

Roman gulped, playing with his sash.

"I do

He smiled

Now come on, Patton has been worrying about you all day."

Virgil grabbed his hand and pulled him from his room.

Somtimes all you need is a new perspective

*clears throat*
