"What did you do now?" Deceit crossed his legs, leaning back into his chair. His snake eyes skimmed over the other, disappointment evident on his face. The Duke only stood proud before him, a devious smile emphasizing the crazy look in his eyes.
"Exactly what you told me to do!", the Duke took a bow, peering up through his silver hair, "My performance was marvelous if I say so myself! I freaked them out so bad, you should've seen the look on their faces!"
"If it went so well, why are you standing here? You should still be up there working to convince Thomas he is a bad person. But instead those filthy sides sent you away."
Deceit walked down the steps, his cloak fluttering behind him, "Tell me what you did wrong."
Remus walked up to Deceit, rubbing his hands on his shoulders, "Well, big D-"
Deceit grabbed his hands and pulled them away, "Do refrain from calling me that."
"Is that a lie? Hope so because Imma do it anyway!", His arms returned to Deceit's shoulders, "Big D, it's not my fault they sent me away! I'll be back next time and definitely do much better!"
"If there is a next time."
"Well, I sure hope so! It was a pretty juicy scene to be around my dear old brother's pals! And to see Virgil again was a delight! He's really changed after all this time!"
Deceit walked away from Remus to the other side of the room, leaning his hands on the table, "Which is why we have to stop this now. Virgil is becoming too comfortable. You reminded him of his past, correct?"
Remus nodded his head rapidly, the grin etched on his face growing, "Of course! His past is a true piece of work! One does not just forget how much of a bad guy he used to be!"
Deceit twisted his head to meet eyes with Remus,"Then we'll move to the next stage of my plan."
"Yes!", Remus swung his wrecking ball excitedly in the air, "The Double D duo are back in action and ready to screw Thomas-"
Deceit snapped his fingers making Remus cover his own mouth with his hand, "Actually, I'll work alone."
Remus huffed as he lowered his weapon. Deceit flailed his hand in the air, allowing Remus to speak again.
"But how exactly-" Then he felt a surge of energy run through him.
Deceit grinned, "Do you feel that?"
"What? The vibrations that just ran through me?" Remus made a noise that almost sounded like a moan as he stomped his foot, "Of course"
Deceit stared at him in disgust, "Why- why are, why are you like this? You need to stop."
"Poopy", Remus pouted, taking a seat on the floor.
"The vibrations," Deceit waved both hands in the air, "mean Virgil is in his room. Which means I'll be paying him a little visit."
Deceit twirled in his spot raising his hand before looking down at Remus, "Take care of the place. If you get hungry, there're some deodorants in your room."
Remus gasped, jumping up to hug Deceit, "Thank you, Big D! You're the best person ever!" The Duke ran off to his room.
Deceit rolled his eyes, Sometimes I really miss having Anxiety around.
He snapped his fingers, appearing in Virgil's room where he saw the young side crying on the steps.
Too easy
He walked forward, extending his arms to the side, widening his mouth into a sneer. He licked his fang, staring down at Virgil.
"Look at you."
