What better way than to rant your feelings through one shots

Virgil watched him from afar, admiring the excitement running through his voice. The way his eyes sparkled at every word, the joy sprinkled
throughout his eyes. His lips curved up into a soft smile, his eyes crinkling with laughter. His hair moved down his face from the movement, the purple hair covering his eyes. His hands clapped excitedly, the sash moving against his clothing.

Virgil couldn't help, but crack a smile. A burning pain in his chest. His eyes soften, regret crossing his defined
features. The smile he wore disappeared as he watched Roman closely. The phone calls and messages riveting in his mind. Each heart and honest word between them, each small kiss and hug, every small gesture pounding his mind into putty.

He bit his lip, his gaze taking in every small detail of the other. He remembered when he called off their relationship. He remembered the pain in his eyes, the stutters spilling from his mouth. The tears welling up in the corner of his eyes and running off to his room.

He remembered clutching the ends of his sweater, no tears or noises. Just silence. He didn't feel love for him
anymore and it felt wrong to force himself to love someone he didn't. So he ended it.

But now he regrets it.

He regrets ever letting go, he misses him. Not the gestures, just him. Looking back, he didn't understand why he let him go. He finally figured out that he loves him. He always did, but he was just scared. He wasn't ready then, but he's ready now. But now. It's too late.

His eyes locked on to the pair in front of him. Roman and Logan were doing what they use to. Holding hands, laughing, smiling. The happiest Logan had ever been. Virgil couldn't take that away from him. So he stood back and watched, his heart still drawn to the other in a hopeless flutter.
