- Jimin's point of view -
Today, my father was having a big speech in his company. He was going to make me the co-CEO, so the company could go to me after and I could take care of bigger responsibilities. I hated these. It gave the press, paparazzi, and the people something to gosh about.
It made people look up at us more and the attention only increased.
I completely loathed it.
I looked at myself in the mirror of the bathroom. I fixed up my black tie and straighten out my black tux. I smoothed out my golden button-up shirt and ran my hand through my silky brown hair.
"Ugh, I don't want to go out there.."
"Then don't, and you'll finally be out of my father's and I's way." I turned around and saw him, my rival, Minseok. Or better known as K..
As in Kill me everytime I see him.
"I'm not in the mood to argue with you, Minseok." I sighed and turned back to the mirror.
I saw him glare at me through the reflection of the mirror. "But I am, and I have a bone to pick with you about your father." Unexpectedly, he grabbed the back of my tux, picked me up, and slammed me against the wall. I winced in pain as he took a handful of my hair, pulling my head back.
"My father announced me co-CEO last night, your father couldn't even wait a day to name you co-CEO of your business!! This was supposed to be my moment, our moment!! And now you two are the faces of every single thing!"
I tried pushing him off as he pulled my hair even more. "It's not my fault, Minseok!"
He pushed me to the ground and looked down at me, "I don't care if it is, you became my enemy the moment you choose to follow your father's greedy footsteps over our friendship."
Minseok left the bathroom after kicking me straight on the ribs, causing me to gasp for hair and cough up blood. Tears began to run down my face as the pain became unbearable.
Yes, there was a time when Minseok and I were the closest friends, inseparable. That was before our father's became rivals though.
His dad, Sung-ho, used to work under my father. He would bring Minseok to work so I could have someone to play with, since my parents were too busy for me and didn't want to hire a babysitter. We were best friends until out teenage years..
One day Sung-ho had an amazing business idea he wanted to build with my father as partners, but my dad didn't want to share any credit or profit with him. So, Sung-ho created his own business and it quickly flourished, competing with my father's businesses.
At first, Minseok didn't want any part in his father's business, he didn't like the competition. I didn't want my part of my own father's company either, so we made a pact to not compete ever.
Little did we know that that promise was going to be broken and our friendship would be broken into a million, unfixable pieces.
Because we have to keep up our reputation, my dad told me I was going to be apart of the company, so I can start learning how everything worked, and announced it to the whole world.
I was distraught, in disbelief..
Minseok hated me ever since, he never let me explain the situation, he never understood what happened.
I reached out for my phone and scrolled through my contacts. I clicked Jungkook's contact and my finger hovered over the call button as I debated whether or not to press it.
I can't go to jungkook..
As much as I need him right now, he can't know..
I clicked away from his contact and dialed T as I picked myself up from the floor, holding on to my stomach.
"Hello, jagi, how's your co-CEO conference going?" He answered in his sweet, deep voice.
"Horrible..I need to see you....tonight." I replied in a low tone to try and mask the pain my body was going through.
"Come to my place, dad's out of state for work, I have the house all to myself.."
Suddenly, the door busted open and I quickly hung up and looked at the door to see, Kim Taehyung. Another soon to be heir to one of my father's competitor's company.
He's not very fond of me either.
He smirked at me and shook his head as he walked over to me. He grabbed the arm I was using to hold onto my stomach and placed it over his shoulders and helped me walk out the bathroom, towards the nurse's room right down the hall.
"Have you ever heard the song named Blood, Sweat and Tears?" He asked. I shot him a glare, "I'm in too much pain to care about your song references."
He chuckled, "I'm guessing this was Minseok's doing?" I looked away from him to avoid his gaze as we headed down the hall.
"Why are you helping me, Kim? We're enemies.." I asked him softly to prevent my stomach from hurting even more.
Taehyung and I have never been close, the only times we've seen eachother is during conferences, we were brought up to be enemies..
He looked down at me and shook his head, "you're the only one that sees me as an enemie, I'll help anyone in need no matter what, Park."
I looked back at his piercing brown eyes, I could see the sincerity in his eyes. What's this kindness..
When reached the nurse's room, he sat me down on the hard bed and began to head over to the door.
"Thank you, Taehyung.."
He stopped in his tracks to look at me, "No problem, Jimin, and I meant what I said."
I was left in my thoughts as he exited the room and the nurse came in to examine my injury.
What a twist..

.The bright stars illuminated the dark blue night as I pulled in to T's driveway and quickly got out of my car with my backpack in hand.
The conference lasted forever, even with a painful, bruised stomach, I managed to go up infront of people and talk, and receive the co-CEO position. Minseok's glare never fluttered.
I rang his doorbell about a billion times until he finally opened the door. I ran into his arms in an embrace, he hugged me back just as tightly and carried me in his house, still in an embrace, causing me to bite my tongue to avoid wincing in pain.
"Long time no see, jagi. I've missed you." He chuckled as I let go and smiled at him with tears building up on the corners of my eyes.
"I've missed you too, Taemin.."
