The weekend came round faster than I expected, soon enough Perri was at my door with bags and his mum helping him move all his stuff in.
It was really awkward knowing I was carrying Perri's baby and not telling his mum. Part if me wanted to tell her right there and then but I knew that this wasn't the right time. And somehow I don't think she would be that understanding at this moment in time.
After she left I helped Perri settle in. We unpacked his clothes and other belonging. It was pretty weird having him back but I was so pleased and i think he was too. We decided that tonight was just a pizza, chilling, TV night. I ordered pizza and he went out to go and get some DVD's.
While we was gone I decided that this would be a good time to tell Eloise that Perri was moving back in. She was at her boyfriends this evening and wouldn't be back until 10pm. I took out my phone and looked up her name on my contacts. Ill message her-
'Hey Eloise, thought I would tell you that if it's ok, perri is going to move back in. If we are going to have this baby we are going to do it together. I hope that is ok. You are still very welcome to stay but it's just Perri will be here too. I hope this is ok. Skye x'
Within a few minuets I got a reply.
'Course it is ok, it's your house. I'm really pleased you both worked it out. Proud best friend moment here :)' Loves- Eloise'
She is so sweet, best friend I ever had.
I was just starting to fall asleep when Perri walked in.
"Oh, sorry" He said whispering
"No no, it's ok. What films did you get?" I asked rubbing my eyes
"Um.. Frozen and We're the Millers" He said laughing pulling the films out the bag
"Ok, Frozen first" I said taking it off him and putting it in my DVD player.
We snuggled up and watched the film, singing along to all the songs with great passion and feeling.
We got up on the sofa and danced around laughing and cheering.
We got through half of we're the Millers before I fell asleep, I dreamed of our baby, bringing it up, teaching it to dance, first steps, everything.
When I woke up the next morning I was in my bed and Perri was already gone. I rolled over to a note on the pillow saying.
'Had to get the train back to Essex, got rehearsal. Rachel, your manager called and said you rehearsal is at 11.. made you breakfast. Enjoy, love you. Pel x'
He is so sweet.
I tucked into the toast and jam he made me and drank the tea. I hopped in the shower and washed myself. I got out and got dressed. Before I knew it, it was 10:30.. I walked downstairs to hear Eloise packing up her gym bag.
"Ready to head off?" She asked putting her keys in her bag
"Yep, let my just grab my shoes" I said
I grabbed my shoes and put them on, Eloise got in my car while she waited.
We drove to the studio singing along to Frozen songs. When we arrived the girls were already there, warming up and laughing.
We walked in and joined them. The tour is only a week away now! We practiced really hard and worked our socks off!
Finally it was 9:30pm. Perri finished at 8:00pm so he is already back home.. waiting for me. We finished up and drove home. When we arrived home Perri had made me and Eloise tea. Pasta and Sauce. Yummy. We gobbled up and collapsed on the sofa.
Suddenly Eloise got a call..
"Sorry, I'll be back in a sec.." She said, she sounded kind of unsure..
"Ok.." I said smiling
Perri shuffled up and put his arm around me, I placed my head on his shoulder. I sighed and said
"This tour is going to be amazing!" I said
"I know, I can't wait. Only a week away now!" He said laughing
Eloise walked in and sat on the chair oposite us.
Me and Perri looked at eachother, what was going on.
"You ok" Perri asked
"Erm.. yeah, actually I'm great. But I need to speak to you about something." She said shuffling to the edge of her seat.
"Right..." I said
"Well.. I wanted to know if you guys are ok with me moving out?" She said smiling
We both gasped
"Really.. I mean. Perri moving in has nothing to do with it right?" I asked looking concerned
"No no! I mean, things with Marcus have been going really well and we've bought a place." She said
This is a shock and a half!
"That's great!" I said getting up and hugging her
"Yeah, that call was from Marcus, he was just bidding on the house and I was scared we hadn't got it. And this is perfect timing because you 2 are about to have a baby and you will need your own space." She said. Good point.
"As long as your sure?" Perri said
"I'm sure, thankyou both for being so understanding." She said engulfing us both in a hug.
"When are you leaving?" I asked
"We are allowed to move in on Wednesday.. so I will be gone by then." She said.
"Ow.. I have no one to help me kick monster ass!" I laughed
"I will be visiting all the time I promise and I will be checking up on you to see how little Peanut is doing" She said looking at my belly.
Peanut is the name she gave it. Well until we know what the scan shows.
We all went to bed, wow today has been eventful.
It's weird to think my best friend is moving on, she won't be living with me anymore. Starting a new life with her boyfriend. This will be so good for her.
I'm really proud..
