It's the next morning. A day since I told Jordan I was pregnant. A day since I told Jordan I would tell Ash about it. I have to, he needs to know.
I got up, showered, dressed myself, put makeup on and had breakfast. I made my way to Ash's room. Number 101.. I saw Jordan standing outside his door. He said he would come with me.
I took a deep breath and knocked. The sound echoed through my head.. it took a while but finally he answered.
"Oh.. hey guys?" He said sleepily
"Yeah, hi.. can we come in?" Jordan said
"Sure.." Ash said standing aside and letting us in
I sat down on the bed and looked down. I couldn't bare to look at him.
"So.. what's going on?" Ash said confused
"Skye..." Jordan said looking at me.
I knew, I knew I had to tell him. Now or not at all.
"Ash.." I said looking up at him
"I'm.. I'm pregnant.." I said looking at him dead in the eyes
There was a silence.. a long one
even longer
and longer
Ash just looked at me, said nothing, nothing at all.
"Ash..?" Jordan said putting his hand on his shoulder
"No.." Ash said moving away from Jordan
"Ash please, let her explain." Jordan said
"No! She's doesn't get to do that! She doesn't get to do anything! How could you be so f-ing stupid!?" Ash shouted
"Ash please..." I said beginning to cry
"ANSWER MY QUESTION!" He bellowed
"Perri broke up with Saffron, we got back together and we did it.. I'm 19! I'm old enough, I don't need your permission!" I said in my defence
"Do you have any idea what you have done?!" He yelled
"What, I'm happy! Or I was.." I said trailing off
"Ash, this is unfair. Let her explain and you will think differently." Jordan said
"No, I know everything I need to know. I know that my sister was stupid and reckless! She doesn't deserve our help right Jordan!?" He said looking at Jordan to agree.
".. No! She is a good girl. never done anything wrong in her life. She is 19, a legal age! She knows exactly what she was doing. It's Perri you should be cross at!" Jordan said, realizing what he said
"Why should I be cross at Perri?" Ash said confused
"Because Saffron's pregnant too.." I said
more silence
"You have to be kidding!?" Ash yelled burying his head in his hands.
"No.. they did it too then they found out she was pregnant." Jordan said explaining
"Get rid of it.." Ash said
"What?" Jordan asked
"You heard me, get rid of it" Ash repeated
"Ash.. no" I said
"I'm not having Diversity's reputation ruined by Perri!" Ash yelled
"Ash, it was both of us! You can't blame Perri for this!" I yelled back
"I have worked too hard for you 2 to ruin it!" Ash yelled
"Your over-reacting!" Jordan said in my defence
"No, I'm really not. If you have any respect for me and the crew you will get rid of it. Tomorrow." Ash yelled
"Ash.. please.." I cried
"No, get out!!" Ash bellowed
I stood up and walked out. How could he say such horrible things.. How?
He's my brother, he said he would always be there for me.. always love me, understand me..
How?
