I carried on walking down the hallway, where am I going. I don't know, I just have to keep going.
A baby? They are having a baby.. Saffron and Perri.. No..
I carried on walking until I got to Eloise's room. I didn't even bother knocking.
"Oh my god Skye? What's the matter?" She said quickly getting up from her bed and engulfing me in a hug.
I didn't know what to say.. Perri and Saffron are having a baby? Perri and Saffron did it 4 times?
To be honest I didn't know how to feel.
"Perri..." I said crying into her shirt
"Oh god no.. what's he done?" She said wiping my tears away.
"They... I mean Saffron. She's.. having a baby.." I said quietly
"No.." She said, I could tell she was just as hurt as I was
"She's carrying his baby.." I cried
'Oh Skye.." She said hugging me tighter
I talked her through as she listened closely.
Then the phone on the dressing table rang. I walked over to it and picked it up.
"Hello?" I said quietly
"Is it safe to come in? You won't throw a chair at me or something will you?" Mitch said
"No.. come in." I said
A few seconds later Mitch came in slowly and sat on the bed next to me.
"I'm sorry.. nothing I can say is going to make this any better.." Mitch said
"Not really.." I said
"Well.. if it's any constilation, Perri is ripping her head off in there." Mitch said laughing
I let out a small chuckle.
But it didn't really help.
"How could this happen?" I cried
"Well it's like you said, it's pretty simple but I don't know how he could be so stupid!" Mitch said
Just then the dorr swung open.
"Skye.. please!" Perri said walking towards me
"No... you stay away!" I said getting up and walking backwards
"No! Please, you need to understand!" Perri said
"I understand perfectly well. While we weren't togther, you decided to try for a baby with God Zilla. Then when it didn't work out you can back to me with not even a thought that she could be pregnant!" I cried
"No it's not like that!" Perri yelled
"Then please, enlighten me!" I yelled sitting down
"Yes, we were trying for a baby but she assured me she wasn't pregnant then when we broke up and we got back together. We did it then you said you were pregant" Perri said calmly.
"Whoa, hold on! Your pregnant?" Mitch said puzzled
"Yes Mitchell keep up!" Eloise said sarcastically
"Then what?" I said
"She saw us and told us both she was pregnant!" He said
"Well... what are you going to do!" I said
"What do you mean?" Perri said
"You can't support both of us!" I said
"What are you saying?" He asked
"I'm not having this baby growing up knowing that it's dad is being shared with another woman and her baby! So who are you going to choose?" I asked
"Skye you can't make me choose." Perri said
"Do you want this baby growing up thinking it will always be second because daddy can't give it all the love it needs because of another child!?" I yelled
"No!" Perri said
"Then tell her you want nothing to do with her, she has a family who can support her. I'm in London by myself!" I cried
"I can't.." Perri said quietly
"Why not?" I said
"Because this is my baby too." He said
"No! This is your baby!" I creid pointing at my stomach
"No! That was a mistake!" Perri yelled. His eyes widened suddenly realising what he had said.
"Skye.. Please I'm sorry I didn't mean it!" He said
"No... you said it! This was a mistake!" I said
"No it wasn't!" He said
"Well.. you won't have to worry about it anymore. Because this time next week this won't be here." I said pointing to my stomach when I said 'this'
"What do you mean?" Perri asked
"I'm going to have an abortion.." I said
"No.. this is my baby too! Don't I get a say?" Perri said
"No, no you don't! You lost all rights to have any kind of say when you got another woman pregnant and said this our baby was a mistake! Your nothing now!" I cried
"No please!" Perri cried coming closer to me
"No.. I hope you, Saffron and that monster of a child are happy. You can give it all your undivided attention now. And we'll just pretend that this never happened." I said leaving the room.
I could hear Perri running after me but I just kept going.
Am I doing the right thing? I don't care. I don't care about him.. or about the baby.
I just don't, not anymore.
