Chapter 2: Rejection

"Why do I even bother?" Thought Amy pacing around her room.
There was noise from outside her window and she peeked out. Sonic and Tails were walking outside. "This is my chance!" Amy gasped.
She ran outside and tackled Sonic.
"Get off me you idiot" Yelled an angry Sonic.
"You know what, you're crazy!" Sonic said as rage bubbled up inside of him.
"Sometimes I wish you would just go away!"
Tears fell from Amy's eye
"Then goodbye Sonic" Amy whispered running away.

"I'm really sure why I did that." I said to Tails. "Didn't you always have a little crush on her?" Tails asked.
It was true, I always had a little crush on her but I was too shy to tell her.
"I gotta run" I told Tails and before he could say anything in response I was gone. I paced around my room. Why did I say that to Amy, I definitely didn't think that of her now, maybe when I was younger but not now! Whatever, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Is that what Sonic really thinks of me? I sat crying on the floor, tears streaming down my face.
I wiped the tears and told myself "snap out of it Amy! He is not worth your time!" I grabbed my guitar and started strumming a tune.

Wow! I thought. I guess it's time to go. I began packing my bags.
"The gang is gonna wonder where I went though" I said to myself. I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a note. I placed the note on the table and opened the window.
"Goodbye, maybe I will see you again soon," I said, then I jumped out the window and ran as fast as I can.
