Chapter 15: Wait... an egg?

I feel like I've been apologizing for sucky chapters too much, I'm gonna try and make this chapter better than the other ones.

Amy P.O.V.

I woke up surrounded by red laser bars.

"HEY! Let me out!" I yelled.

"All in good time." Came a voice.

"Show yourself!" I yelled back.

A different voice laughed.

"And why should we do that? You're the one on a cage!" A voice laughed.

I saw a tint of green merge from the shadows, but it kept hidden. I looked at he necklace that Sonic had given me and held it tight;

"Please, hurry up and come and save me." I whispered.

Sonic P.O.V.

I paced back and forth. We had left the water and I was relatively dry from my pacing. Amy had just come back! We couldn't lose her again! Blaze walked towards me and hugged me.

"It's alright we'll find her." She told me.

Then she slapped me.

"So get a hold of yourself!" She yelled.

"Alright alright! I will." I said.

"I got it!" Tails yelled.

I ran over to him.

"You got it? What'd you get? TELL ME NOW!!" I screamed shaking him back and forth.

"Well, I figured out the note is from Eggman an-" Tails began to say.

"ARG! Eggman! I'll get him for this!" I snarled.

"As I was saying. It's from Eggman and a hedgehog with green spikes, as I found out from this hair sample." Tails said holding up a green spike.

"Scourge!" Shadow said.

"ormanic" Knuckles muttered.

I gave him a death glare.

"What'd he say?" Blaze asked.

"Nothing! Nothing!" I quickly replied.

"So it's Scourge!" Silver exclaimed. "What's a scourge?"

"Scourge is kind of like my green clone." I explained to him.

"ANYWAY! By testing out different stains and fingerprints, I've managed to pinpoint their location!" Tails cheered.

"Then let's gooooooooooo!" I yelled, running back and forth.

Everyone ran after me.

"It's locked!" Blaze said trying to open the door.

"Well no duh Sherlock." I spat.

Blaze glared at me. I spindashed into the door pretty much destroying it.

"Ah! My door!" Came a voice.

I ran inside and a laugh echoed through the room.

"Well well well, Sonic The Hedgehog." The same voice echoed.

A tall round man stepped out.

(A/N: Stepped?? Even I don't believe that.)

"Eggman!" I yelled.

"Yes that's right. Did you miss me?" He asked.

"Give amy back right now!" Cream yelled.

"Why should I? What are you going to do about t? Bake me some cookies?" Eggman asked.

Cream ran forward and tackled him.

"Get her off me!" Eggman screamed.

A green hedgehog stepped out of the shadow, picked Cream up, and threw her to us.

"Eggman! You can't even handle yourself against a tiny little rabbit!" He criticized.

"She was vicious." Eggman whimpered.

The green hedgehog facepalmed

"So it is you Scourge?" Tails said.

"Well duh." Scourge said. "And if you want Amy back, you'll surrender and give us Sonic."

"NEVER!" I yelled.

"Have it your way." Scourge shrugged.

He pressed a button and a cage rose up out of the floor. In it was Amy, half unconscious.

"AMY!" I screamed.

"Sonic." Amy whispered weakly.

Scourge pressed a button and electricity zapped at Amy.

"Fine. I'll surrender." I admitted.

"No! Sonic don't!" Amy yelled as loud as she could.

Eggman pressed a button and the cage bars disappeared. Amy ran towards me.

"Sonic please don't! Not for me!" She whispered.

"I'd do anything for you Amy. Even give up the whole world." I told her.

She gave me a big passionate kiss.

"I hate to break up this lovely scene, but it's time for Sonic to come to us!" Eggman said.

We pulled apart and Amy was crying.

"I love you." She whispered.

"I love you more." I whispered back.

I pushed Amy away.

"Now stand still." Scourge commanded.

"Shoo!" Eggman told the gang.

The gang walked out, Amy trailing behind. She shot me a last pleading look and I blew her a kiss.

"NOW!" Eggman yelled.

Next thing I knew there was a huge green flash of light, a pink blur and about a million screams going on at one time. The light disappeared and when I looked at the ground, Amy was lying on the ground bleeding.

"AMY!!!! NO!!!"
