The Four Sectors of Creagan had alot of history. Each point on the map was inhabited by a different species of Supernatural, including Vampires; who were cunning, manipulative and loyal. The Witches; who were stubborn, selfish yet helpful. The Lycanthropes; who were vicious, violent and reckless. The Humans, who resided right in the middle of the diamond formation, were safely guarded from harm by all Supernatural beings. And lastly the Hybrids. Not much is known of the Hybrids, only that they have no leader and that they are very, very dangerous.
Funny enough, originally there was only three points in Creagan, as Hybrids did not exist until much later in the history.
Long ago there was a war between the Vampires and the Werewolves. The Vampire King and Queen, while old and ruthless, did not want to risk the lives of their people by storming into the unknown territory of the Werewolf sector, so they held their ground and defended their own land. However the Werewolves, being malicious and self righteous, stormed right across the plane and straight into the Vampire sector, destroying everything in their path, including the Human land. The Vampires lost everything, but they persevered and won the war. After their victory, the Vampires decreed again safely on the remain Humans.
Before we get ahead of ourself, lets talk about how Hybrids came into existence. The Sector of Hybrid was not needed originally as there was no threat incoming from the sea, and no possible problem would make it up the cliff. During the war, the Witches and the Vampires had a very close alliance, both needing something from the other. Relationships between the species began to form, creating the first offspring of Hybrid called Hatchlings. Hatchlings lived in Harmony between the two territories. While Hatchings do still exists, they are rare due to later disturbance of the peace and large death of Vampire population. After the war, some remorseful Werewolves cam across the planes to apologise for their families actions, this mending ties to the races and later along the line causing more relationships between all three races. When the Lycanthrope mated with the Hatchlings, the true Hybrid was born. As they grew older, they became more dangerous, and the entire new breed of species was banished to their own lands on the Cliffs of Creagan. After the creation of the Hybrids, most races kept to themselves, focusing on growing their own populations, rather than any more mixing.Moving forward to the current situation of all races. First the Vampires. The Vampires are run by a King and a Queen who equally rule over the entire city. The King and Queen are not married, they are siblings, and each have their own lover, as the Vampires are ruled by a family line. It is needed in this Sector for both the King and Queen to have at least one daughter and one son respectively as they need an heir. Each of them have both a daughter and a son. In the Vampire sector, there are four roles you can fit. A protector in the royal army, a dealer in Vampiric medicines and potions, a Hunter or a Civilian.
The Witches are run slightly differently. The Witch Sector is run by the Mother Witch. She is as old as any Vampire due to her strength in magic. You must always answer to the Mother. One does not simply disrespect the Mother. In the Witch Sector, there are three roles you can chose from to fill, there include Offence and Defence Magic (Battle Magic), Tonic and Healing Magic (Health Magic) or Earth Magic (Gypsy Magic). You are tested for your true strength a year before you are expected to choose, and then the Mother Herself trains each new witch personally in their field of talent.
The Werewolf Sector is run by a Pack Leader. In Lycanthrope, there are no roles to place, it is every man for himself, however the new Alpha has proven to be much easier to deal with then the old Alpha that ruled during the war period.
The Human region in the centre of the Diamond is run by a tough leader, but a fair one. In the Human sector, you are either a lover or a fighter. To find one that is both is rare. The Humans have an army of their own that also assists when needed.
Now that we have a basic understanding of how Creagan works, lets dive right on into the story.
