Lailah had grown up thinking the rules of her Sector were unbelievable strict, the older she got the more she understood why they needed the rules they had, and how they maintained their harmony through those rules. Apart from the unruly strictness, Lailah loved her Sector. Unlike the Werewolf and Witch sector, men and women were equal in her city. She had been commanding the Royal Army since she was 16 years old, and given her talents in the role no one had ever questioned her. And she knew that no one would dare. She was well aware of her reputation of fierce, hard and strong, and also well aware that a majority of the city knew she had almost no humanity left when it came to sentiment. And she was not apposed. However people still loved her as she walked the streets, small children giving her flowers and building her crows of vines. Everything in her Sector was at peace. Which was the main reason as to why her vision was freaking her out so much, she had worked hard to ensure this peace was stable, and now it was at risk. She needed to figure out how to convince her dad that this problem was real and something must be done about it. He was just as stubborn as her at times. She prayed he would listen.

The walk across the meadow to the Vampire Sector was longer than Jed had anticipated. He wished he had worn different shoes. He also wished for a feast. Maybe the Vampires would give him one when he arrived, or they would turn him into one himself for stepping foot in their Sector without prior approval. He hoped for the best and continued on towards the lights in the distance, praying to god they would listen.
