Jessica fell silent while she laid her eyes on the cup she held between her hands. Her cheeks had turned into a soft red color that matched her red lips. “This party isn’t too bad,” she commented. She brought her deep brown eyes to the dark-skinned boy, Toby.
Toby laughed heartily. “Isn’t it?” He then looked at her, her eyes glistening. “Aren’t you going to have some more?” He gestured towards her cup.
Jessica glanced down at her drink and realized that she barely drank from it. She took another sip. A pleasant warmth spread through her stomach. But she needed to be careful, she reminded herself.
“Maybe we should go somewhere more private,” Toby suggested.
She felt the heat rise in her cheeks. “That’s what I was thinking ever since we started talking.”
The temptation overpowered him, and before she knew it, he leaned down and placed his full lips on hers.
Jessica closed her eyes and felt his lips against hers. She placed a hand at the back of his neck and tugged him towards her forcefully. Hungrily, his tongue made its way into her mouth. The heat spread like fire in her body and she felt alive.
Toby’s hands travelled down her back and cupped her bottom. He didn’t seem to mind that they were having a full make-out session in public.
“Hour’s up.”
Jessica heard the voice purr in her ear, but she ignored it. Things were just starting to get hot heavy and she didn’t want to be deprived of that.
Steven folded her arms and frowned. “Jess, I warned you that—”
She broke away from the kiss briefly and sent Steven a deadly glare. “Give me more time. Things are just getting started.”
Toby’s thick dark brows caved in. “Who are you talking to?”
Jessica held a finger to his lips, silencing him. Her eyes slightly narrowed at Steven. “Give me ten minutes.”
Steven’s rage boiled inside of him. Even though he told Jessica about these abilities to make her happy, she was still selfish as always. Not wanting to take anymore, he fixed his mind on Jessica’s and within seconds, he was in the blonde’s body.
When Jessica realized that he had pushed her out of the host’s body, she flared her nostrils. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
Steven, who was now in the blonde’s body, turned to Toby, and smiled. “I have STD’s,” he stated, “lots of them.”
Toby’s face twisted in disgust. “Gross!” he spat, walking away the first chance he got.
“Steven!” Jessica fumed.
He shrugged helplessly. “Your hour is up and Aiden wants to see you.”
Jessica folded her arms against her chest. The sound of Aiden’s name almost made her smile. Almost. “He doesn’t want to see me,” she said quickly, before she could get excited. “Now, leave me alone.”
