"Mornin', Fubuki!" Aoi greets the clementine haired boy. A wide grin stretches on his face and he waves repeatedly.
"Is this all of your luggage, Aoi?" He asks as he takes the lilac duffle bag and puts it onto the pile of bags in the back of the car.
"That's all." Aoi confirms with a nod. "We're going for two days, one night. Did you think I'd bring more?" She gives him a questioning half smile.
"Good morning, everyone!" Kaito chants nervously as he runs up to the Nissan Yeti parked outside Fubuki's house. "Sorry, I'm late!" He utters and bows politely.
"Hello Kaito! No worries man. Makoto, Rin and Kyoko haven't even showed up yet!" Fubuki laughs and puts the green bag of his friend next to Aoi's.
"I just called Makoto." Aoi declares, bending her brows and scratching the back of her neck. "He said that he and Rin are already nearby. Apparently, Rin's raged over Kyoko packing for too long and they headed out without her."
"What?!" Fubuki and Kaito shriek in unison.
"She hasn't even packed yet?!" Fubuki resents when suddenly the two aforementioned boys show up in their view.
"Over here!" Aoi waves, gesturing her boyfriend and Rin to the car.
"Yo." Rin says as he throws his backpack into the truck.
"Hello! Thanks for inviting us over, Fubuki-kun." Makoto smiles genuinely at the clementine haired boy.
Fubuki raises a thumb and winks. "Thanks for coming along!"
Makoto's eyes scan his girlfriend momentarily. Aoi's wearing a purple tye dye shirt, darkwash shorts with her classic black boots, on her neck is hanging the necklace Makoto had given her as an Easter present. "You look beautiful, beautiful." He smiles.
Aoi blushes. "You overdid a little.." She sticks her gaze to the ground sheepishly. She then notices Kyoko's absence. "Rin, did you really just leave Kyoko packing?" She cocks a brow, disposing her hands on her waist.
"Tch.. She's been anxious about the passing time and was at a loss. Every second time I'd tell her to hurry up she'd scold herself under her breath and rushed around the room like crazy. So I chose to leave.." Rin snorts.
"Then we might as well the seats we like in the car! She comes last, so she cannot choose!" Fubuki enthuses and immediately, Rin and Kaito dart to the front seat next to the driver's.
Kaito drops a cold sweat as he meets Rin's threatening glare, but nevertheless, he bows his head low and exclaims ; "Please let me sit in the front! I might faint if I squeeze to the back with so many people in the car!" He admits, trembling all over.
"Oh.." Rin exhales heavily. "Fine." He waves him off.
"Thank you so much.." Kaito sighs in relief as his goosebumps disappear.
"There are three more seats in the back. I guess we could fit if Aoi sits on Makoto's lap and if Kyoko sits on Rin's." Fubuki blurts out, raising his brows cunningly.
Makoto's and Rin's faces flash red and they look away, gulping.
"Actually!" Aoi gasps and points her index finger up. "If you slightly shove this bag to the side, there's a space for Makoto in the truck." She enthuses, shoving the luggage to the sides and creating a small space.
"Eeeh?" Makoto bends his brows. How unfair that was of Aoi.
"Don't give me that look, we're going to ride in the back together." She smiles.
