Makoto and I stood on the train station, waiting for the train to get to Samezuka. It was Friday, and we were all invited to go the amusement park. The hosts were Fubuki and Katie, but obviously, such timid people as Aoi and I are won’t stand someone paying for us.
I exchanged several glances with Makoto, not really aware of what to talk to him about. We attend the same school and I’ve seen him enough during the schooldays to know what and how he has been doing. It’s awkward, to put it mildly.
“Sooo,” I sang, tilting my head to the side. “Katie’s leaving again.”
The olive haired boy nodded, his eyes softened and he glanced down at the rails. “Who knows when we’ll see her again.” He thought aloud.
I blew my bangs, poking my tongue out. “Especially me..” I felt my heart getting heavier as all the time we’d been waiting for the train stretched. I took it to think about what I’d be doing without all of my precious friends. It’s like a stab in the chest to know that I won’t see them at least for another four years. How emptying was Japan, first leaves Katie, then Kyoko…
Once we finally got to Samezuka, we joined Rin, Aoi and Kaito, who had finished their practice earlier. Aoi greeted us both with a brief wave and then rushed over to her boyfriend. How sweet, too bad I wasn’t in the mood to appreciate Rin’s frown at the moment. The thought of my leaving had stuffed my head and there was no room for any other.
“You alright?” Rin cocked a brow at me.
“I am.” I brushed it off, hoping that he’d leave the subject, but he definitely noticed my moroseness behind my smiling mien.
“Where are Fubuki and Kaite?” Wondered Kaito.
“They’re supposed to meet us at the entrance of the amusement park.” Aoi explained, and we all headed there. “Mei will be there too, she went on a shopping spree for the occasion.” The purple-eyed girlie declared as she hopped backwards, walking ahead of us.
“Five bucks on her buying a golden dress.” Rin rolled his eyes.
“Golden dress will cost much more than five bucks, I’m afraid.” I shook my head.
“Not that gold!” A deep frown curved on the shark boy’s lips. I giggled, softly pulling his cheek.
“A dress made completely out of gold, huh..” Makoto drummed his fingers on his chin, looking into the sky.
“Japanese Lady Gaga would fancy that.” Aoi snickered.
“Japanese Lady Gaga?” Her boyfriend wondered, wrinkling his forehead as his fingers stuck off his jaw.
“Fubuki.” We all stated in one voice.
“Reidi Gaga.” Rin scoffed, snorting a cute laughter.
“It has ‘Rei’ in it too.” I nudged the Ryugazaki twin. She pouted at me, then broke into giggles.
We took a long ride towards the meeting spot. Long enough to make poor Kaito seasick. He said that he had never been bothered by long rides before, but today, he seemed rather anxious. I suppose he’s afraid of what kind of a thing Fubuki will pull out this time.
“Hey there!” Mei ran up to us, wearing a sleeveless, white top with golden lining on top, her slim legs were clad in a yellow flower printed skirt which was hugging her thighs tightly, golden ballet flats on her feet.
“Hey Mei!” I raised a peace sign, grinning at the redhead.
After we all exchanged hellos we finally approached the said place. Fubuki and Katie were nowhere in the sight. Of course, out of all people they had to be late!
