"Hey Barley, the usuals please. I had a pretty rough day at work, so make that 3 glasses, yeah?" I say pounding my hand on the counter. "I'm sorry, but I'm not Barley. He's away for a short vacation, so I'll be taking your order. And that is?" the waiter says.  I look up and see a male dummy around my age in the usual waiter's uniform. "Oh,  uh, sorry, didn't notice you. I'll have 3 glasses of tequila, the strong one please," I say wandering off to my floundering thoughts. "you know, it's not good to drink so much strong liquid when you're stressed," the waiter speaks up as he pours my drinks in 3 separate glasses. "Oh yeah?" I say looking over at the waiter. "Yeah, I'm sure of it. The last time I had 3 cups of strong liquid and I threw up right after, then I got thrown off board, banished by the bar," he says passing my 3 glasses. "Sure sucks to be you, but trust me, I can hold my liquor," I say drinking the first glass. "The name's Justin, you?" he asks me, standing by the counter in front of me. "Marrianette," I say shortly. "Sweet name, you single?" he asks casually. Hearing the word 'single' reminds me of the time my ex ditched for another chic, it didn't end well, and the wounds still hurts. I stay silent, hoping he would get the gesture. "Sorry if that offended you," he says in defence. "It's fine," I say through gritted teeth. He slips away from my sight for a moment and comes back with a piece of paper in hand. "Here, call me if you ever wanna talk, I know we've just met, but I think I get the way you're feeling," he says and hands me the piece of paper. "No, you don't get me, and I don't need your help, I'm fine by my own!" I say raising my voice ever so suddenly. "Sorry, I thought you... Nevermind," he says leaving me to my misery. 'You've done it again, good job stupid' the voice in my head whispers. I get up from my stool and leave $30 note on the counter to pay for my drinks. Before leaving I look back and see the piece of paper lying still on the counter, slightly rippled. I take the piece of paper and slip it into my jacket's right pocket. Then leave the bar immediately.

I came back to the bar again the next day, and he's still there. Serving the female monsters with a bright smile. I sit on one of the empty stools by the counter and he walks over to me. "I'm sorry about yest-" "Hello again, what would you like to order today?" he says in the same way he does to the other customers. "What? I'm talking about what happened yesterday. I'm sorry, I wasn't really thinking straight ya know?" I say looking away. "No worries miss, it didn't really affect me," he says not saying my name. "My name is Marianette, or did you forget that?" I say narrowing my eyes at him. "Miss, I'm only trying to do my job, so if you aren't going to order anything, feel free to leave," he says coldly. He turns around to leave but I grab the end of his shirt. "What!" he hisses at me. "I said I was sorry, we met yesterday and you're pouting about this like we're that all close," I say. "sorry, but I don't take orders from arrogant monsters like you, so please excuse me miss," he says through gritted teeth, slipping away from my sight. I exit the bar, raging with anger, not knowing why I even came back to apologize to him. After all, he's just another monster, he's all but just a stranger to me. So am I stranger to him. But, why do I find myself coming back for his forgiveness? It feels like I'm suddenly attracted to him. Even for just a day! Love can be so twisted, you fall in love, then fall out of love. And it all happens differently, suddenly. Of all monsters why him? Maybe if I can turn back time, I'd go back and change the moment when I ruined everything. Cause maybe, just maybe, I've fallen in love again.

So pretty much this isn't really a... Uhh.... You know.... Like, it doesn't end happily. Justin and Marrianette are just strangers in this chapter. Marrianette works at somewhere... And Justin works at the bar. Yep. Okay that's all from me.
