The shadow After

They all looked at each other, awaiting Oscars response. The night was cold, but nothing was colder than dean's expression.

"No." Dean broke. "I refuse to believe it".

"Oh come on dean, what don't you believe?" challenged Jess. "She's sitting here in front of you, what more do you need?"

Cassidy had said nothing. She sat there in silence with a slightly confused but solemn look on her face.

"I need proof. You don't understand how it felt to sit in that car, assuming that all three of the most important people in my life were possibly dead! I waited and waited for someone to wake up, but no one did. You don't understand how it feels to sit there in a car slowly being stained with the blood of three people that I love the most in my life, when I didn't even have one injury! You don't understand... Those eyes-"

"The eyes?" Cassidy questioned

"Yes! the eyes from the animal... I could not only see them, but I felt them... and they felt like death itself".

No One spoke. Everything aligned. The eyes were not from an animal but they were from a being far too powerful.

"Are you thinking what i'm thinking?

" Oscar said

"You bet your fur" Jess stated.

"This doesn't solve anything!" dean said. "so what if the eyes were from something beyond our mind's imagination! It does not solve the problem of the thing that is currently rotting up your living room!" If looks could kill...

"He's right". Cassidy took everyone by surprise.

"No Class, don't listen to him-

"Do you seriously think that I want to be here?! I feel so empty, I just want to die! This feeling that I feel- which is nothing at all I might add, is slowly eating me up whole. I-i'd rather go to hell than be here for goodness sakes I-."

"Okay". Oscar interrupted.

"Excuse me?" Cassidy challenged

"Okay. We'll find a way to kill you for good, but first, you need to tell us everything that you saw when you had that vision before you 'died'."
