I sighed as I followed Jimin back into his apartment, watching as he just dropped his jacket on the floor and kicked off his shoes.
"I've got some work to do," He said, also dropping the bags he was carrying for me (just in case any stray photographers were about) and heading down the hallway towards his office, "Do what you want,"
I watched as he disappeared, before heading into the bedroom with his jacket and my new clothes. Dumping them all on the bed, I went to the closet and pulled out my favourite pajamas, before heading back into the living room with my old phone in my hand. Jimin had forgotten about buying me a new one, and to be honest, I was glad.
Scrolling through my contacts, I smiled when I came across the one I was looking for, and tapped 'call'.
"About time you called me!" My brothers angry voice snapped through the phone, "I've been worried sick!"
I laughed and put the phone on speaker, before heading to the kitchen and setting it on the side, switching the coffee maker on.
"Hey Kookie. How're you and Dad doing?"
"I saw you on the news," Jungkook ignored my question, and I rolled my eyes, "You're a bit lovey dovey with that jackass, aren't you?"
"Jungkook, I-"
"Be honest. What's going on?"
I sighed and ran my fingers through my blonde hair, "He said he needs to keep up his image so he's making me pretend to be his girlfriend of six months in public,"
"And at home?"
"He barely talks to me. But it's only been two days," I put a little pod of hot chocolate into the machine and put my mug underneath it.
I could almost feel Jungkook getting angry, but when he spoke, he was unusually subdued, "Noona, why don't you come home?"
"Kookie, I-"
Jungkook cut me off, "You don't sound happy, and I don't like that. Do you want me to come and get you?"
"You don't have a car," I reminded him gently.
"I've been using yours. I can be with you as soon as I can, Noona. Just come home,"
"Jungkook, I promised to stay here for a few months. Its only been two days. Don't worry about me,"
"Of course I'm going to worry about you," He snapped finally, "You're in a house with some guy you've never met, and you're engaged to be married!"
"It's not an engagement yet," I sighed. I took a sip of my hot chocolate, bending over and resting my elbows on the counter as I stared at the phone. He did have a point.
"Whether its official or not, you gave your first kiss to some guy you don't know," He growled, "I saw him kiss you in the car on the news today; I didn't even know he was that famous. Why did you do that, Noona?" His voice became more gentle, "You don't have to go this far for us,"
I smiled and took another swig of my hot chocolate, "I'm okay, Kookie, stop worrying, okay? You should worry about keeping your grades up, instead,"
"My grades are fine,"
"Not according to your last exams,"
"Shut up. Come home,"
"I'm not coming home yet, Jeon Jungkook,"
My brother sighed and I could feel him starting to give in, "Fine, but I want to visit you,"
"Visit me or nose around Park Jimins house?" There was silence on the other end of the line and I laughed, "When you're free, we can hang out, okay, Kookie? Just make sure you study,"
"Fine," He grumbled, "I have to go now, I gotta cook dinner for Dad. Love you, Noona,"
"Love you too, Kook," I smiled before he hung up.
He might be a pain, but I did love my younger brother. We had been close ever since we were young and had spent all of our childhood together; Dad just worked and worked, trying to keep us fed and clothed once our Mum passed.
I jumped when I heard a sound behind me, and turned to see Jimin leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest.
"You scared me," I muttered, placing my hand over my pounding heart, "Don't do that,"
"You are very close to your brother," He noted, pushing himself off of the wall and moving to the kitchen. He grabed a mug and placed it in the coffee maker, before selecting a pod of coffee and shoving it roughly into the machine.
"Yes," I said, picking up my phone and dropping it into the pocket of my pajamas, "I am,"
He paused, watching the machine as it dropped steaming coffee out of the tiny tap, "First kiss?"
I froze on my way out of the kitchen area, "How long were you listening in?"
"I wasn't listening in, I just overheard. And I'm not a jackass,"
"You heard my whole conversation!" I said, "That's so rude!"
He shrugged, "You both speak loudly,"
I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration, "You could have said something or left,"
"I could have," He agreed, pulling his mug out of the machine, "But I didn't,"
"Obviously," I snapped.
He huffed a sound suspiciously like a laugh, and made his way out of the kitchen area, "Unless it's your brother, make sure you aren't seen talking to any other men,"
"Excuse me?" I gaped at him, "You can't tell me who I can or can't talk to,"
He calmly placed his mug on the kitchen island, before moving quickly to me. I held my ground, not letting him back me up, but he grabbed my shoulders, pushing me until my back was against the island. His eyes narrow, he lifted his hand, tilting my chin up to face him.
"I'm telling you this for your own good," He hissed, leaning in close to me, "You are not used to the world I live in. Take my advice, Jeon Bee, because otherwise, you will regret it,"
I slapped his hand off of my chin and he stepped back, "Was that a threat, Park Jimin?"
"No," He said, picking up his coffee again, "It was some friendly advice to my fiancee, as I don't want to be involved in some scandal that will ruin my reputation and my career. I'm going back to my office, try not to distrub me again,"
With that, he turned and went back down the hall to his office, leaving me angry and slightly confused. I took a deep breath and shrugged off his warning. Apart from him, the only men I talked to were my brother, my father and my best friend.
There would be no scandal coming from a virgin like me. I cared too much about my family.
"I'm not your fiancee yet," I muttered as I sat down on the sofa, bringing my legs up underneath me as I switched on the television.
