It was two o'clock in the morning and Jimin wasn't home yet. I'd even tried calling him, but there was no answer. I was just about to give up waiting, when the front door flew open, and the overbearing stench of alcohol wafted through to assault my nostrils.

Jimin staggered in, slamming the door behind him and peering at me with unfoccused eyes.

"Why're you still 'wake?" His words were slurred but I could just about make out what he was saying.

"Because I wanted to talk to you," I said, slowly getting to my feet, "But I guess that will have to wait until the morning. You should go to bed. Let me get you a glass of water,"

"No don't bother," Jimin staggered forward towards the kitchen, barely able to keep himself upright, "I'll get it myself,"

"You can't even walk straight, Jimin," I sighed, "I can get it,"

Stumbling to a halt, Jimin beamed at me, "So sweet, what a good wife,"

I rolled my eyes, "Jimin, if this is going to be what it's like being married to you, I'm not sure I can go through with it," I said, filling the glass to the top and taking it to him.

"What are you talking about?" Jimin narrowed his eyes as I moved closer, "You said yes, you can't take it back. No take-backsies,"

"Jimin," I sighed, "I just want to be ha-"

My eyes widened in shock, and I almost dropped the glass of water as Jimin reached out, grasping my wrist in his fist and yanking me forward into his body. He leant down at the same time, cutting off my sentence as he pressed his lips hard into mine. He was still for a moment, before he pulled back, his cheeks red.

"No take-backsies," He muttered, "I want to marry you,"

I looked up at his face, flushed red from the alcohol and the kiss, "Why me?" I whispered, unable to form another thought in my mind, "Why me? I didn't think just because your father picked me, you-"

"For fucks sake!" Jimin cried, stepping away from me, "Yeah, why you? Why the fuck is it you?!"

"What?" I was a little taken aback, as I'd never heard Jimin either shout or swear before.

"Forget it, I'm going out again," Jimin turned on his heel and headed towards the front door.

"Jimin, wait! Where are you going?"

Jimin ignored me, slamming the door behind him hard as he stormed out, leaving me confused and pretty close to tears.

JIMIN - EARLIER

"I'm not going to hurt her," I said angrily, getting to my feet, "And you know that,"

"You are hurting her," Yoongi argued, "By doing what you are doing now!"

"I'm-"

"Tell her the truth!" He cut me off, "You know she doesn't recognise you, and why would she want to? Stop playing around!"

"I'm not playing around! This isn't your business anyway. You made it clear about your feelings since day one, Min Yoongi,"

"Dude," Taehyung stood up, trying to diffuse the situation, "You obviously don't know Jimin as well as you think you do. He can't just tell her, just like that. You don't know the situation,"

Yoongi turned his fierce gaze on my friend, who stood his ground, despite the obvious trembles in his legs.

"Jeon Bee is like a sister to me. This guy," He jerked his head towards me, "Knows that. He also knows that I don't care who the fuck he is, I'll still kick his teeth in. I'm not the same person I used to be. Right, Park Jimin?"

I scowled, lowering back into my seat, "Go away, Yoongi, I just want to relax. If you want to talk, make an appointment," I tossed a card across the table, making Yoongi clench his fists in anger.

"Fine," He reached into his pocket, pulling out his own card. He dropped it onto the table by my beer, "If you change your mind, call me," He turned then, and left the bar, without looking back.

JIMIN - PRESENT

I looked through my pocket, searching for the card that was thrown at me earlier that night. I was surprised when he picked up; not only because of the time, but because I'm pretty sure he hated me.

But he did pick up, so I called a cab, and took the hour long journey back into the main part of the city, to find this guys studio.

"Why am I not surprised that you called me on the same day?" Min Yoongi rolled his eyes as he stepped to the side, inviting me into his studio, "Get in here, you bloody drunkard,"

"It's not the same day," I muttered, following him in, "And I'm sober. At least, more sober than I was,"

The older man ignored me, and I followed him into the little studio. He was obviously still at work, but switched the monitors off when I entered.

"Why turn them off?"

"You have a partnership with Monster music," He shrugged, "Can't give my ideas to the competition, can I?" He took a deep breath, "What do you want, Park Jimin?"

"I can't tell her," I blurted, my face turning red, "I can't tell her"

"You're over thinking it," He rolled his eyes, "Just do it!"

"I can't!" I cried, "She just doesn't get it! She doesn't remember me, and I want to keep it that way,"

"Jimin, just tell her!"

"I can't!" I screamed, tears flooding to my eyes, "I'm a different person to back then!"

Yoongi smiled sadly, "No, you're the same person. And of course she doesn't remember you. She wants to forget that part of her life,"

"But you don't want to forget?" I scoffed, "You remember me!"

"Of course," He replied simply, "You were my first love,"
