I wake up with a buzzing sound on my cell. I check to find out its Matt calling. Why is he calling? It's literally 6:15 in the morning. Lemme answer his call
"hey butter cup wassup?"
"well I'm at the jungle hunting wild beasts wanna join me?" I reply sarcastically
"omg don't get mad. Jeez. You're sarcastic as hell." Matt replies slowly and softly
"What else could I possibly be doing at this time? Anyways why have you rung me up?"
"Oh yeah sure. Well I kinda finished studying, watched tv for a while and then crashed in the couch. when I woke up all I could do was think about you. I rung you up. Im sorry for the disturbance though" he says quickly lol
"uh.. why me?" I ask in astonishment
"Cause you are cute silly ;) " Nick replies
"lmao. Tell me the actual reason" I question
"oh..okay. well I was thinking if you'd like to hang out with me this Saturday?." He says softly
"okay but if you bail on me this time. I'm gonna be very bitter about it" I grunt
"no chance sweets, gn"
"i just have 30 more minutes to sleep because I gotta wake up for school. So keep talking to me."
"well I would love to but I gotta take a shower take care Rene. I'll see you at my lecture." He says
"duh.. bye take care." I end the call
I think I should sleep for some more time.. like I've got 30 minutes. So I set my alarm and go off to sleep again
"Rene wake up.. you're gonna be late for school again and you sure as hell dont wanna be late for Matthew's lecture" my mom says
"Mum. Im up.. and yes I dont want to be late for Matt's lecture because then he gets mad. So imma go take a shower and leave."
"Yes darling I've made pancakes for breakfast today". My mom says
"yeah sure thanks mom I'll be there in 10" I reply
Im done eating my pancakes and its about time i leave for school.. I dont wanna be late again. I hate it.
“Mom I'm leaving. Ill be hanging out with Nick and his friend today. So I'll be late. Please don't call me I'm not a kid anymore”
“yes darling. I love you and take care.”
I leave and begin to walk towards school. God its really hot today. And I'm wearing black again. Why!! Why!! Oh god.
I get into the class and sit on my regular seat and text Matt and nick that I'm here. I instantly get a reply from Nick saying he'll be here soon.
I smile and wait for him to arrive. I hope his friend isn't weird and we have a good time. Im lost into my thoughts and suddenly watch Matt get in wearing a plain white t shirt and black skinny jeans. God he looks smoking hot. I guess my jaw just dropped.
“Good morning class. I'm on time today luckily” and everybody kind of laughs. And I'm there like I'm gonna hang out with this hottie!!!
“um.. sir I dont get this part of the chapter.” Some girl with glasses asks. Looks like a nerd. I'm jealous already.
“Oh yeah sure what is it.” Matt says and goes over to her and tries explaining it to her. I don't even know why I'm annoyed. “Thank you sir” I hear her say. Fuck
Matt is walking towards my desk and is smiling at me.. why is he making it so obviously i swear... No.. Matt. “Need some help miss Desouza?” he throws a folded note on my desk. Whilst asking this question.
“Um..no sir thank you” I put the note into my pocket.
Omg I'm really excited to read what's written in it. I open the note
And it read “ I saw your jaw drop when you saw me, you are so obvious ;)” . I blush like a madass
“So class I want you all to write an essay on WHAT I REALLY LOVE ABOUT LIFE”. I hope my class can do this and I'll see you guys on friday. You'll can submit it to me on monday.”
I leave and see Nick waiting with that same guy. He looks at me and waves at me. I walk towards him
“Hey Nick.!” I say while I hug him.
“Hi Rene. This is Stan. Stan this is Rene” Nick says
“oh hey. Nick told me about you.” stan replies.
“Oh yes. Nice to meet you.” I say in return.
We're walking towards the school gate so we can exit and we've thought of hanging out at Nick's place. I really miss Matt. I wish this day goes just fine.
