chapter 13

I'm done with my lectures. So I'm moving towards my office. When I see some guy hitting Nick. And then Rene get's in between the fight the guy is now holding her by collar. I go there to save my baby

"Hey just let her go" I say with anger filled in my eyes.

The guy lets go off her and runs away. I quickly move towards Rene. She looks panicked and Terrified.
"Everything is fine now.. baby. Lemme get you some water" I say

"yeah.. I.. uh.. Nick" Rene passes out while saying so. Omg I'm so scared.. I hold her and take her into my office. Sprinkle some water on her and wait for her to wake up...

She slowly opens her eyes.. she looks tired. I give her a glass of water and watch her drink it. She then tries to talk but can't. So I ask her to stay quiet for a while and get something to eat.

After a while she finally starts talking. "This guy. That fat guy called Nick a fag and when nick tried to defend himself he started hitting him in the head. It was really disturbing so I got in between to ask the guy to stop hitting Nick. But he instead held me by collar and warned me to stay away from him"

"It's alright I'm glad you stood up for your friend. I'm gonna see to it that he gets suspended." I kiss her forehead.

"yes please" she responds.

I nod my head. "Omg where's Nick is he fine?" Rene asks in surprise.

"yes darling he is.. I made sure that he was taken to the doctor." I reply slowly.

"ou.. you know what. You're the best." she giggles while saying so.. its so cute everything that she does is cute. I never wanna hurt her.

"You're the bestest. And you've got the cutest blush too.. so its a win win" I wink at her.

"lol I dint know that. Thanks matty" she blushes again

" Yep let me drive you home. So you can rest. Okay" I ask her

She nods in agreement. And start moving towards the driveway when I realised we're holding hands and we are not supposed to do that in public atleast not here.. fuck

"Um.. Rene dear. You know what we can't hold hands in public. It would raise suspicion you know" she looks down a little sad and then untangles her hand from mine. Feels so bad

"Let's go!! Wanna get ice cream?" I ask excited

"Yep sure." she seems dull. We're in the car and then,,

"What happened to you?" I peck her lips while asking so...and I make sure nobody is around us.

"Um.. this you know I can't even call you mine or we can't hold hands or kiss in public. It makes me sad. Tbh"
She says softly and her eyes are shining due to the sun.

"Well for that. Once you graduate out of school we can hold hands or even kiss in public. But right now we're gonna have to keep it lowkey sweety..they could put me behind the bars for violation of rules and you could get suspended too.. and we don't want that to happen to us..now do we? I ask

"No it's alright I'll wait.. lets go get ice cream first" she laughs

"Yep let's go" I reply

We get there and Rene orders a chocolate ice cream and I order tender coconut. We have it while I tell her some dumb jokes which make her laugh.

I drop her off home and think about teaching this fat guy a lesson. Like how could he do that to Rene. Fuck he doesn't know how I am. But I can't do anything it'll make Rene scared of me.. she'll think I'm a beast.

I get home have a shower.. get out and check phone to see a message from some random number.

I reply saying
Who the fuck are u?

The person replies by saying
Expect the unexpected Matt. I'll see you soon. We go back a long way. Btw the girl is cute.

I'm furious but I don't want the person to hurt Rene. She's lovely. What do I do.. I hurriedly reply.

I will report to the police if you even think of hurting her. I hope you know.

That person replies by saying.

What if its him.. I don't reply to his message after that.

I get a text from Rene

Rene❤: hey baby ;) wassuppp

I'm really scared for her life and she doesn't even know that.
Me: hey! Nmu. :)

She instantly replies

Rene❤: whats wrong? U seem sad did I do something or is it some other problem.

She understands me so well..

Me: it's nothing. Darling

Rene❤: don't lie to me.. it hurts. Plz be honest.

Me: for now chill.. I'll tell you tomorrow after school.
