chapter 12

I wake up with a throbbing pain in my head. Must be my sinus pain again. Ou.. well it's a holiday. Saturday finally. I was supposed to hang out with Rene today. Lemme ask her if she's up for it. We've been going out for a whole day now.. it seems better than I thought it would. I send a text to her saying
Me: hey beautiful up for today right. I'll pick you up whenever you want me to.
I put my phone aside and go for a shower. I come back and check my phone to see if Rene's replied.. luckily she has.
Rene: sure. Pick me at 5 lovely. But what do we do. I really don't know what we're gonna do. I'm blank.
Me: idk baby. Guess we'll just figure it when we meet. I'll pick u up soon in a few hours.
Rene: okay babe. I'm excited. I'll be ready igtg now.. gotta write a dumb essay my dumb proffessor has asked me to. ;) He's hot tho. And I like him loads.
Me: omg! Baby. U don't have to write it if you don't want to. Ik its really stupid. I can cut some slack for my baby tho ;)
Rene: I'm glad you can baby. But I'm gonna write it anyways. ;) See you soon love. X
Me: okay bby tc. ;). I like u babycakes.
Rene: you do I'm glad.
Me: of course I do.
Rene: I like you too sweet cheeks.

It's 4:30 I should be leaving.. to pick Rene up. I've put on a plain purple tee and jeans. Because I don't even know what she likes on me.. I guess I'll know soon.

I get there. I'm right infront of Rene's house. When I see her come out in a white tee and blue ripped jeans. She looks so pretty.. she doesn't even have to try.

"Hi there." I say as soon as she's close. She gets into the car and says
"Hey! I got you a rose. 🌹 Taking a rose out of her pocket. It was beautiful and small. Nobody had ever got me a rose. I was in aww but I looked at her in confusion and said.
" um.. you got me a rose. I loved it. But why?"

She replied by saying "well cause I thought you'd like it. And that maybe nobody ever gave you a rose and I wanted to be the first one. And it's not like only guys are supposed to get flowers for girls. Girls can do it too. But I don't know if you liked it or not."

I look into her eyes and say. "Well you are the first one and you did make me feel special so special baby. But how did you know nobody's ever got me a rose"

"Well cause nobody got me one. So I wanted to do that for you. Glad you liked it." she replied blushing.

"Omg you're so different than the others. Like literally. " I say while admiring the flower. Its so perfectly red and it has so beautiful petals.

I look at her and kiss her cheeks "Thank you Rene."

"Omg it's just a rose. You're getting emotional." she makes fun of me..

"Well you'll never know how it feels to get Rose. Cause you never got one." I say teasingly

She blushes and says "I know right. Where are we headed to?"

"Um.. there's really nice place which is actually famous for pancakes. They have the smallest and the most delicious pancakes. After that we can go for a long drive. Do you like the sound of it? " I ask confirming

"It sounds rad. Lets go" Rene replies.

"We're here. Its called 99 pancakes. I hope you like it baby" I say politely.

"Um.. I'm gonna because I'm not choosy at all" Rene replies.

"Thats good then lets go order".

We order nutella pancakes with raspberry ice cream. They're hot and delicious as always and the place is pleasing as well..

I watch Rene eat.. she's a slow eater..its Adorable.. the way that she looks at her food and the fond in her eyes.

"Its really delicious thank you." she says blushing. I see her cheeks turn red in a fraction of seconds.
