I didn't hesitate to lay a hit on him, he dodges and grabs my arm. I quickly pull back before he could destroy my flesh.

"Your mother is quite a hero huh? She has some powerful quirks." He grins. I raise an eyebrow. What's he getting at?

"You wanna know the real reason she left you?" He looks at me through the hand attached to his face. My eyes widen and I gasp. I quickly cover my shocked expression with anger. He's just trying to fire me up.

"She thought you were a weakling! Useless! Just a no good little—"

"SHUT UP!" I punch him. The hand fell from his face. I stare at his bare face. He scowls at me, "You think you're so tough huh? You fool." He grabs my arm and twisted it. I hear a crack, which caused me to scream in agony. Blood rushes down my arm and onto the floor.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Katsuki call. I glance at him and narrow my eyes, telling him to stay out of it. I knew he wanted to run towards me, but he didn't have a chance to. I was on my own.

"I could easily tear off your limbs, one by one." He uses his quirk on my arm. I scream even louder. The pain became numb and I fell to the ground once Tomura's grasp on my arm loosens. My mother came into view, attacking Tomura.

"M-Mom." I whisper. I tried to stand up, but the pain in my arm caused me to fall down again.

"Stay back (Y/N)." She pants and punches Tomura again and again.

"Mom! He's too powerful! He'll hurt you too!" I scream. She looked at me and smiles softly, "Trust me."

Katsuki's POV

"Dammit!" I dodge his attack. This stitch-face guy was stronger than I thought. Kirishima and I were already out of energy.

"You seem real fond of that girl huh?" Dabi tilts his head. My heart skipped a beat. I knew he was referring to (Y/N). Kirishima looks at me, then back at Dabi.

"He isn't the only one." Kirishima mumbles. I grit my teeth. I don't wanna deal with this lovey dovey shit.

"Just shut up and fight me dammit!" I growl. Dabi smirks and aimed at me.

"She's pretty cute. Too bad she's with a loser like you. She had a chance to attack us, but she didn't. You know why? It's because of you and your petty friends."

I grew angrier, "Leave her out of this."

"Bakugou." Kirishima places a hand on my shoulder but I shrug him off.

"You like her don't you?"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I shove my hand in his face and made it explode. I wait for the smoke to clear, but he suddenly grabbed my arm and threw me aside.

"Bakugou!"

"Don't worry about me." I slowly stand up and wipe my mouth, "I'm going kill this prick."

(Y/N)'s POV

I watch as my mother fought Tomura. She was bleeding and out of breath. I tried my best to help but she forced me to stay back. Tomura only had a few scratches on him. This wasn't looking too good.

"Just leave my daughter alone." My mom stumbles. My eyes shook with fear. I couldn't bare to see her like this.

"You stupid heroes, trying to save everyone but yourself. I'm sick of it!"

My mom punches him again. My frown was replaced with a smile.

"THAT'S WHAT A TRUE HERO DOES! SAVE PEOPLE! NO MATTER WHAT! WE WILL KEEP THIS WORLD SAFE!" She screams out. Tomura narrows his eyes, he seemed lost for words.

"I will continue to fight, even if it kills me!" She adds. At that moment, I knew I got my bravery from her. She's always been a hero at heart. She could be in the worst condition and she'll still fight. So why am I just sitting here, watching her suffer? I have to stand up and fight! Just like her! Because that's what a hero does!

"You might have broken my arm,"

Tomura and mom look watch me as I stand up slowly and smile through my tears.

"But that doesn't mean I can't fight!"

"(Y/N)." My mother smiles at me lovingly.

After that, something unforgivable happened. My pupils shrink as I watch the blood fly past me. The hole that was now in my mother's stomach was caused by a fist. I watch in horror as Nomu punched my mother in the stomach. Everyone stopped and looked at us. Even Tomura was shocked. My mouth hung open as I watch her fall to the ground.

"Quick, let's get out of here!" Tomura called Kurogiri. The black mist formed into a spiral. The League of Villains and the Nomu's went through, leaving us here, but I didn't care. All I could focus on was my mother's lifeless body. I ran to her side and immediately started crying. Everyone gathered around me, looking at the scene in horror and in shock.

"M-Mom!" I cry out. Her eyes slowly open, and she smiled.

"(Y/N)."

"Mom!" I whimper. She closes her eyes again, then opens them.

"Listen, I need to tell you, the reason why I left was to protect you." She breathes out. I look at her shocked. No words came out of my mouth.

"Years ago, a villain, named Raiden threatened our family. In order to protect you, I had to work for him. If I didn't, they would kill you." She spoke softly. My body was shaking. I could feel my heart breaking more and more each second.

"Why didn't you tell me?! Does dad know about this?!"

She continues to smile through her tears, "He did. The reason why he didn't tell you was because he knew you would chase after me. We had to keep it a secret for your sake. I'm so sorry (Y/N)." She places her hand on my cheek and sobs softly.

"Don't be. You did what any mother would do. I-I just wanted to show you how far I've come. I was even in the sports festival!" I weep. She nods weakly, "I know. I saw you on the tv. I'm so p-proud." Her hand fell from my face.

"There hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about you, thinking about when I'll see you again. When I finally escaped Raiden, I immediately tracked you down. I'm just so happy I was able to see you again." Her voice cracks.

"Please don't leave me! You just came back! You can't leave now!" I scream.

"(Y/N), listen to me. You'll become an amazing hero one day. I know because you're so strong. Now, I need you to be strong now."

My heart broke into a million pieces. I've been hoping to find my mother after all these years. I knew she was alive somewhere out there.

"I-I can't. I-I love you so much mom!" I sob even harder, if that was even possible.

My mother's eyes slowly closed, "I love you too, (Y/N)."

"Mom? Mom!"
