Chapter 3

*Julia's POV*

Hey. My name is Julia and I have had a crush on Ruben since the beginning of last year. (6th grade. True story. #Rulia is actually a ship name for us but people ship #Shruben or #Renee more because the people think Shiree and Ruben would make the perfect music couple. For more on this check out my story Our Story. Find it in my profile))Ruben has has black hair and a little quiff which I find very adorable, and brown eyes you could get lost in. We have been good friends since last year and I'm so happy that he decided to give me a chance. So after the shooting happened and Ben took a bullet for my baby so we could be happy together we went to my house and went to my room. We sat down next to each other on my bed and I put me head on his shoulder and started to cry my eyes out. I'm a very emotional person so I will probably have many nightmares about the days events. He was trying to calm me down my cooing nice things in my ear like "it's going to be okay" or " I'm here to protect you and it was really sweet." I guess we fell asleep cause I woke up to my mom asking where I was and if I was okay.

*Connor's POV*

Lilly was crying in my arms so I picked her up and carried her to the couch. I turned off the television cause the news was on and all they were talking about was the shooting. I saw on Lilly's profile on the orphanages website that she was a fragile girl who cried easily and was very emotional. So I started saying relaxing things in her ear like its gonna be okay. A little while later she was asleep, so I picked her up bridal style and carried her to her room. That's when I saw something I didn't wanna see. I placed Lilly on her bed and went to the open desk drawer and saw band aids and a razor in it. I wonder why she did this to herself. I go over to her bed and look at her wrists and there are a couple new ones as some scars but not a lot. I went back to her desk and took out the razor and took it into my room and hid it. I went to ask Molly if she knew why Lilly did this to herself but she kept avoiding the question and went to random topics. When it was time for dinner I went up to her room and saw she was still sleeping. She has been sleeping for at least 7 hours cause she got home at 10:30 and it's now 5:30. I check her pulse to make sure she is breathing and she is. I shook her a little bit and she didn't wake up so I grabbed her phone and put on Griefer by J Rice ((it's a minecraft parody I use as an alarm thing)) and she woke right up.

"Connor what time is it?"

"It's time for dinner sunshine. You have been asleep for about 7 hours."

"Oh I'll be right down. I'm a little chilly so let me go get my sweatshirt and I'll be right down." Lilly says.

"Okay sunshine." I said and walked down stairs to where everyone else was. I told them that Lilly was indeed alive.

*Lilly's POV*

I went over to my desk drawer to get the razor to add 1 line to my wrist. When I got there I couldn't find the razor so I went to my bathroom and get a new one. No one but Molly knows about this. I went to the bathroom and I added another line to my wrist and wash the blood that was starting to come out, off. When I washed it off I went to my desk drawer and put a band aid over it and put on my favorite sweatshirt. I went downstairs and saw that there was dinner out. There was fried chicken. Yummy. But there was one issue......sometimes when I feel really depressed or sad about something I eat a little but then feel like i will just throw it up.

"Hey do we have any ginger ale?" I whisper to Molly.

"Yeah check my rooms mini fridge. I got some there stashed for you. Oh and I think Connor found out about your scars because he was asking me about it when you were asleep." Molly said.

"Okay. Did you say anything because I should be the one to tell him why." I said.

"Nope I said nothing. I figured that you would want to tell him yourself."
