*Connors POV*
Needless to say, after we all finished eating we were stuffed. Everyone was groaning on how their stomach hurt from too much food. When we finished our meal we went into the living room and sat down on the couches. It was a 3 day break for Lilly and Molly from school. So far 8th grade from them seemed alright although Lilly kept complaining how there was too much work, how she couldn't focus and how boring school actually was. She always left her schoolwork until last minute or just didn't do it. She kept using the same excuse of "I couldn't concentrate long enough to do it." And when she got home from school Tuesday I could hear her upstairs yelling about how happy she was that there was a break. "Hey guys wanna watch a movie?" Kian asked.
"Sure." We all agreed. We decided to watch mean girls because who doesn't love that movie. Then we just decided on movie marathon. After mean girls was Guardians of the Galaxy, because Molly and Lilly were begging to watch it, and then Mocking Jay part 1. By the end of mocking Jay only Lilly and I were awake. We both just sat on our phones until she spoke up.
"connor. im really happy that you adopted me. I really love you and this weird ass...i mean very weird family. Also, thank you for adopting molly because i dont know how i could survivve without her. It means so much to me that one of my favorite youtubers adopted me. I was so happy that i finally got out of that hell hole. I love you." then she came over, sat in my lap and hugged me. I hugged her back and started tearing up from her little speech. i felt my shirt start to get a little wet because i could hear lilly crying too. in about five minutes we were both crying, hugging eachother, while lauhging at our current state.
