taehyung, jungkook, jimin and yoongi were all gathered in a restaurant to celebrate yoongi's birthday.

"hyung next time throw a party. you're good at things like that anyway and besides you can be the dj at your party." jungkook suggested as all of them eat their food.

"well that's a good idea but i'm too lazy for parties. imagine inviting a lot of people who i'm not really close with and then cleaning their mess after, that's not my style jeon." the other three laugh at their hyung's obvious remarks.

"that was an expected answer from you hyung." taehyung commented with a soft giggle.

jimin has been quiet for a mean time now and he only laughs when something funny comes up. taehyung and jungkook didn't really paid attention to it as they thought that jimin is trying to find the right time to enter their conversation but yoongi was different.

it bothers him on how jimin reacts today. as if he's anxious for an unknown reason and this is not similiar to the jimin he knows. mostly when someone from the four of them celebrates something, it would be jimin who'll be the loudest of them all.

"i gotta go to the comfort room first," taehyung said as he stood up from his seat and made his way towards the cr.

not long after taehyung left, yoongi's phone started ringing indicating that someone was calling him.

caller: hyung
accept or decline

yoongi sighed as he too excused himself before answering the call, leaving jimin and jungkook on the table.

"jimin hyung?"

"yes?" jimin gave himself a mental pat as he didn't stutter with his words.

"are you sick? i noticed that you're a bit anxious and quiet." jungkook said in a concerned tone.

this is it...

jimin thought to himself before he started speaking, "jungkook i've got something to tell you."

the younger one remained silent as he patiently waits for jimin to continue what he was saying.

"i–i like you jungkook." jimin blushed as he finally confessed his feelings.

"i like you too hyung," jungkook immediately replied with a smile.

jimin was stunned at the younger's immediate answer. "really? how did you s–say so?"

"what do you mean by how? of course i like you! i also like taehyung and yoongi hyung because you guys are my friends." hearing jungkook's answer dissapointed the older one.

of course as a friend, what did i expect...

one person heard jimin and jungkook's conversation but chose not to interrupt them. sadly that person was yoongi.

"yoongi hyung what are you doing there all alone?" taehyung asked as he noticed the pale man standing––more like hiding alone on the corner.

"i...i was doing nothing." yoongi replied while staring his two other friends on the table.

"were jungkook and jimin having some plan without us? like you know pranks? i'm gonna kill them both if they did." the younger of the two said in a childish tone.

yoongi just gave a glance at taehyung before saying, "they weren't planning some pranks don't worry. let's now go together at the table."

taehyung noticed the older's sudden change of mood but he chose to ignore it. he thought that maybe yoongi saw something that annoyed him but what could that be?

back at the table, jungkook looked at jimin waiting for the other one to speak. but as he saw some tears forming at jimin's eyes he got worried.

"w–why are you c–crying hyung?"

"i just confessed at you, idiot. but its okay i kind of expected to get rejected. also i'm not crying i'm just tearing up a bit." jimin tried to act cool so jungkook wouldn't feel so bad for him.

"i'm sorry..." before jungkook could have said more words, yoongi and taehyung arrived already.

"what's with the sudden gloomy mood?" taehyung asked as he sat down next to jungkook, then yoongi next to jimin.

"it's nothing." jimin answered as he gave a small smile.

{end of flashback}

after that confession, jungkook later on said that he loves someone already and that he can't return jimin's feelings. he also said that it is best for the older one to move on and find a better man.

jungkook knew that yoongi heard their conversation. that day, yoongi never smiled again after the call he received. and also from that day he started having thoughts that maybe yoongi likes jimin.

this thought immediately vanished as jimin and yoongi became bestfriends. though right now, it was proven that yoongi's feelings were true––he was just good at hiding it.

"so you're really doing this for yoongi?" jin asked, still stunned at jungkook's reason.

"i'm not only doing this for him but also for jimin. something inside me tells that he feels the same way as yoongi does. maybe he hasn't realized it yet but i know at some point he thought about it." the younger smiled after he said those.

jin being proud to see how jungkook grew up a lot in this mission made him happy.

"you're a good friend jeon, i believe the reason you gave me was valid. you just proved that you're a true risk taker and i hope even if you still do this you won't fail your own mission."
"i promise i won't," jungkook replied.

"then fifteen days left for you, goodluck with it." jin said as he adjusted the time on jungkook's golden clock.

"let's all be happy..."
