"w-who are you?" the small voice that came from the bed asked.

"taehyung!"

the six young men shouted in unison as they surround taehyung around his hospital bed.

"are you fine hyung?" jungkook immediately asked.

when the other guy did not answer and just gave them a confused look, it hit them that taehyung just asked who are they and...

"shit, you don't remember us?" yoongi asked and he was immediately smacked at the head by seokjin as the older said, "watch your words min yoongi."

"i'm s-sorry but i'm literally confused right now. why am i wearing this white thing? was i involved in an accident?" taehyung asked.

though everyone was shocked that taehyung possibly got a temporary amnesia, they tried not to show it just to avoid making the other boy scared of their presence.

"you kind of almost drowned three hours ago but you're fine now." jimin said as he gave his bestfriend a hug.

a few minutes later, they heard a loud laughter inside the room.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA---ha ha ha, oh my gosh let me breathe first." hoseok said as he wiped some tears from his eyes.

"hyung?" jimin and jungkook asked while the others gave him a weird look.

"what? mmpf--you still don't get it?" hoseok asked as he continued wiping the tears from his eyes.

"hoseok get straight to the point! why are you suddenly acting weird?" namjoon said in a serious tone.

"oh gosh i'm aware that you guys are dumb but i'm surprised you still haven't caught to the situation." hoseok said with a smirk before he continues, "it will be impossible for jungkook and taehyung to end up together. it's their fate afterall, no matter how you change it seokjin hyung it'll be no use. one of them needs to sacrifice and both cannot live at the same time."

"w-what are you saying?" seokjin asked.

"oh i'm just trying to say that their story will always have its tragic ending unlike those novels you read nowadays."

"a traitor!" jimin shouted as he was ready to stand up and hit hoseok but he was stopped by yoongi.

there was silence for awhile as they were all trying to put the things together from the information given by hoseok but this silence was broken down by another laugh.

a screech-window-cleaning- type of laughter.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA"

and another deep laughter joined.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA--i'm sorry! this was all planned, i-i swear it was seokjin hyung's idea!" taehyung said as he completely stood up from the hospital bed to join his other two hyungs who were laughing near the windows.

"what?!" jimin asked, completely taken aback from what he heard.

"well it was getting serious you know, the atmosphere earlier. taehyung was completely fine after the cpr as he only took some water inside his body." hoseok explained.

"so you weren't asleep the whole time?" namjoon asked.

"i was sleeping for real. it just happened that jin hyung visited my room earlier when you guys were arranging the hospital bill. and i was completely fine and awake that time so he made up a plan. he told me to sleep and take a rest but when i wake up, i must pretend that i forgot who you guys are. i wasn't actually aware that he'll include hoseok hyung in this." taehyung added.
