jimin and yoongi were happily walking down the streets trying to find a good store where they could buy gifts for taehyung and jungkook.

they have decided that they would just go to the nearest mall from their school since it would be a lot easier to commute back to their meeting place.

"hey jimin who do you want to pick among jungkook and taehyung?" yoongi asked trying to make a conversation.

"i guess taehyung, i have a perfect gift for him already in my mind and i think he'll love it." jimin answered back with a smile.

"okay then, that leaves me with jungkook." their conversation ended quickly which made yoongi panic.

'shit shit shit, i hope he doesn't think this is too awkward.' yoongi said to himself mentally, trying to keep himself calm and composed.

on the other hand, jimin was just really enjoying the other's company. instead if finding it awkward, he thinks that the silence was comfortable.

the silence was only interrupted by their phone's ringtone, notifying them that a message was received.

hey hyung i'm sorry, me and taehyung can't go back to the meeting place for exchange gifts since seokjin hyung and namjoon hyung needed me. i'm gonna update you later on. goodluck with your date and confession!

yah jiminie, jungkook had an urgent meeting with seokjin and namjoon hyung today. i hope you still enjoy each other's company and about the gifts, please tell yoongi hyung we'll give ours next time we meet. love you and enjoy!

yoongi just sighed after reading the message from jungkook. he was kind of looking forward for their double date but of course seokjin and namjoon had to interrupt.

he was not blaming though since he knew that the two angel won't call one of them in an urgent if there's nothing important to talk about.

yoongi just hopes it doesn't involve any conflicts with their missions.

"hyung did taehyung texted you too?"

"nope, it was jungkook. he said both him and taehyung can't come anymore."

"yeah that's too bad though but anyways i think seokjin hyung needs to tell something to jungkook that's why. anyways, let's still continue to find gifts for them." jimin said trying to lift the mood which successfuly worked as it brough smile to yoongi's face.

'i'm so whipped.' the older thought to himself as he followed jimin.

after two hours of going around the mall, the two are finally settled with the gifts they are going to give to taehyung and jungkook.

jimin bought taehyung a necktie with a modernized design on it. the color was black and gray which he thinks will suit his friend a lot.

yoongi then has bought jungkook a headphones for a reason that he lately noticed that the younger keeps borrowing his one and he thinks that maybe jungkook's current headphones is either missing or broken already.

"do you want to eat some snacks? my treat." yoongi offered and jimin being jimin cannot reject the offer, not when he is starving.

"of course hyung, i'll never say no to free foods or meal." jimin said with a small giggle.

they decided to eat at a doughnut shop since it was what jimin wants and yoongi would just agree with him. he's so whipped for the younger and he's not afraid to admit that.

"this doughnut is the best!" jimin said happily as he ate and yoongi just smiled at him, admiring his cute attitude.

when they're almost done eating, yoongi decided it was the perfect time to say and do what his plan was.

this is it...i'm confessing

"hey jimin," yoongi called and the younger just hummed waiting for him to continue.

"i've been planning this for a while now and whether you would accept it or now, i'm fine with it." yoongi started making jimin confused of what he was talking about.

"i'm not a risk taker but for now i'm willing to be one because if i won't do it now, i think i can't hold it any longer. i've had some feelings for you ever since i realized that when you smile, it makes me happy too. and shit i'm being honest here, you know i'm not this type of person but i really really really like you park jimin. like a lot. i like you more than what you think a lot means."

and there we go, he finally did it. all he needs to do is to wait for the response, the reaction of the younger one.

if ever jimin would reject him, he would accept it gladly. he doesn't want to force the younger one into any relationship if he isn't ready yet. yoongi doesn't want to be selfish, he really cares for jimin too.

"hyung i––"

"don't feel any pressure jimin, i'm willing to wait." yoongi interrupted as he tries his best not to let the panic show in his voice.

"hyung no wait––"

"if you reject me, it'll be no worries. you just need to be honest with your feelings alright? if you don't like me the way i like you, we could still be friends."

"damn it min yoongi!" jimin shouted dropping the honorifics this time and the older one was quite surprised with the sudden raise of voice.

"let me finish before you say anything oh my gosh," the frustration in jimin's voice was very evident this time. "i just want to say that i admire your courage hyung, i know who and what you are. you can be a coward sometimes but in times where your bravery comes first, that's the time where you become more attractive." he added with a smile.

"and...hyung i just want to say i like you too a lot. just like the way you like me a lot." jimin said before giving the older one a hug.

to say that yoongi was not happy would be a lie, he could be the happiest man on the earth right now. i mean who wouldn't feel the same way when you learned that the one you've been crushing on for a long time likes you back right? it was seriously one of the most beautiful moment in life for both yoongi and jimin.

"that means you're my boyfriend now right hyung?" jimin asked and yoongi let a small laugh at the younger's innocent question.

"of course you lil squishy thing, you own me now." yoongi replied.

"i'm glad to hear that hyung cause i'm yours now too." jimin said and laugh with him at their exchange of cheesy lines.

"we should probably update taehyung and jungkook about this." yoongi said but jimin stopped him.

"we should but not through text or calls, it would be better if we tell them in person so let's do it when we meet to give these gifts to them."

"sure whatever you want jimin." yoongi said being the usual whipped he is to the younger.

finally they're togetheeeer. okay so i'm aware that this is a taekook story but i just wanna insert yoonmin on this chapter so i hope you like it. also, expect that the upcoming chapters would focus now more on jungkook's mission cause time is running and well of course taehyung would be involve.
