"it's a good thing that you were able to do a cpr on him, he could have experienced difficulty in breathing due the amount of water that went in him if you did not do an immediate action. anyways, he'll be fine now." the doctor explained to the six other six men inside the patient's room.
"that's it right? if he wakes up he'll totally be fine hmm?" jungkook asked.
"well, i cannot really say it yet. it might cause him trauma or he could experience temporary amnesia but we never know. it sometimes depends on how the person took the situation or if his body is strong enough to handle what happened." the doctor named dr. song, replied.
"what can be the worst case that could happen doc?" namjoon asked.
"like what i said earlier, temporary amnesia. the patient's memories can be back anytime soon or it could take longer. sometimes it last for a week, months or if not, then years. bringing his memories back will be a lot easier if you help him remember who he really is, you guys are friends with him right?" the six guys nodded.
"then just do what you usually do with him, don't act too weird around him and treat him the same way you did before. with this, it will help the patient to recover faster." the doctor added.
the six guys said thank you to dr. song before the man leaves as he still need to do rounds on the hospital.
"this...this is beyond my control now." jin said as he sighed in dissapointment.
"before all of this happened, he can't remember me. what if he can't remember me for the rest of his life? i only have five days with me hyung." jungkook said trying not to make his voice crack.
"jungkook all you have to hear from him is those three words, to know what he truly feels about you. it doesn't matter if he remembers you or not because if you two are destined, it will always be the two of you in the end." namjoon said, and the others just agreed.
"don't think about it that much jungkook, we're here to help you." jimin added as they all hugged him as a comfort and support.
jungkook cannot stop his tears as he let himself cry on the arms of his hyungs. for the first time, he truly showed how weak he is when it comes to taehyung and how desperate he is for his mission to be successful.
he wants to live.
he wants to stay for taehyung.
and although this might sound clichè but...
he now knows the true meaning of his life.
his happiness.
and he doesn't want to let go of it.
the six guys broke the hug with smiles on their faces as if it were all saying that everything will be fine.
their moment was interrupted by a small voice asking,
"who are you?"
