SONG - "With Or Without You" by Our Last Night

Dylan POV

Content.

Happy.

Safe.

That's how I felt kissing Blaise right now.

He seemed a bit shocked and taken aback when I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist, but he seemed to recover quickly – if you know what I mean.

I heard the class cheering, and the distinct sound of Jamie screaming. Which probably made poor Drew's ears bleed.

The kiss was getting heated, and Blaise had long past Mr. Skylar's no touching rule. I slowly pulled away from Blaise, a big smile on my face, and rested my forehead against his.

I could see a big grin on his face, and the sadness in his eyes was replaced with something lighter, like he was relieved.

"Dylan-" I stopped him from talking by pecking his lips.

"We can talk properly later, okay?" I asked, still with a stern look on my face. There was no way I was just going to kiss and make up with him... again. I needed to talk to him and let him know that what he did wasn't okay.

He nodded and gently lowered me to the ground with a small smile on his face. I turned around to walk back to my seat, before realizing the whole class had witnessed our fight... and make up. I blushed at the amount of people looking at me, and quickly walked back to my seat, Blaise following close behind.

"Okay... That was... yeah, um... so –" Mr. Skylar was cut off by the bell and everyone jumped out of their seats and out of class.

I got my backpack, and was about to head out when Jamie jumped on my back.

"Girrrlllll. My God. My Fucking God. I swear I am going to slap you upside the head and tell you I TOLD YOU SO!"

"You told me what?" I asked.

"That you guys would totally be the cutest couple ever! My oh my, you guys just about gave the whole class a free porno, I don't know D, but I think even Mr. Skylar was getting a bit-"

"Shut the bloody hell up Jamie!" I shrieked, not wanting to hear the end of her crude sentence.

"What! Just saying..." she drifted off, an evil smirk on her face.

I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and a warm, calloused hand intertwine with my own. I smiled at this.

I looked up at Blaise, who was looking ahead like he wasn't making me all jelly inside.

"Anyways... I don't want to be a third wheel with you guys, so I'm gonna find Drew and we'll meet you at lunch. Sound good?" Jamie asked, a grin on her face.

"Yeah, that's fine. See ya later!" I said, and gave her a small wave as she walked in the opposite direction to us.

"Sooo...." I hear a deep voice say beside me.

"Sooo..." I copied, looking up into his blue eyes, which had a glint of humor in them.

"I know you said you wanted to talk-"

"Which I will be doing a lot of," I interrupted.

"-but, do you wanna come back to mine tonight?" Blaise asked hopefully.

"Sure. As long as it doesn't end like it has the last two times I've been there," I said, my eyebrows raised.

"Oh god," he groaned. "You need to stop bringing it up. I feel like such a dick everytime I even think about it." He said, rubbing his other hand over his face in frustration, which I have to admit was rather hot.
