Prince Jellal felt helpless. After 7 years of peacefully ruling his kingdom, 7 years surviving without magic, the world as he knew it was ending. The world that he loved so much was becoming slave to another. Jellal looked into the sky from his castle balcony at large rift in space in time.

The massive tear in the sky was currently spitting out a mulitude of high tech looking war drones, all of them marked a with a brand that said Psychic City. These were merely a fraction of the invading force that had taken down this Edolas's defenses so easily.

Yes, This Edolas. For the world that was attacking them was another world also known as Edolas, the Edolas of a world parallel to the Earthland Prince Jellal knew when he had traveresed it under the guise of the great mage Mystogan.

"Why...?" Asked Prince Jellal. "The one day in which magic returns to this world, and we find ourselves at mercy to the tyranny of another who wishes to control that magic..."

Suddenly a guard in ordinary midevil armor burst through the door leading out to the balcony. "Prince Jellal!! We have to go!! One of their divine psychic generals are here, she broke through the front defenses like they were nothing! Sugarboy and Byron were like flies to her....and Erza Knightwalker...she's joined with the enemy side, we're all but completely helpless!!"

"I cannot abandon my people.." said Jellal.

Suddenly a huge explosion rent the door of the balcony apart. and guard was throne off the building, screaming.

Jellal whirled around while taking out a long staff that had a seashell like structure on the end from his back and readying it. "Sleep!"

Jellal waved the magic staff as the end began to glow, however, a large lightning bolt blasted out of the dust and shattered the end of the staff before Jellal could do anything.

"Prince Jellal I believe..." said the figure in the dust cloud as she moved forward into view. "Or should I call you Mystogan?"

The figure was none other then a girl with sandy brown medium short length hair. She wore a white leotard with black high tech looking armaments all over it including metalic black shoulder pads and greeves, as well as a large high tech looking curvy sleek mechanical gauntlett on her right hand. She also wore combat boots with high knee black socks. And she had a large black eye patch with white edges that obscured her left eye.

But what surprised Jellal the most about this girl, was that she couldn't have been more then 14-15 years old. "What? The Psychic Supreme would send a child this young into the field of battle!?"

"I am no mere child Mystogan, formerly of the Earthland Fairy Tail." said the girl. I am Mikaris Misaka, 3rd of the Seven Divine Generals of Psychic City. We do not determine who serves by what age they are, but by what power they have achieved." An electric charge flashed on Mikaris's right gauntlet as sparks jumped out of her bangs. "I have killed over 27 high level magic users in my world..and 3 in yours...shall I have to make you my 4th, or will you surrender quietly?"

"There is another in a different world who also goes by the name Misaka...and bears the same face." said Jellal. "But I doubt she would let anything like your city control her..."

"As the reports claim, you seem to have some sort of means for keeping an eye on the Earthlands of both our worlds." said Mikaris emotionlessly. "Where is it..? Tell me, and your death will be swift and painless."

"I'll never tell." said Jellal with an angry smile. "You'll have to kill me...cause no amount of torture will ever.."

"So you sent it to Earthland in hopes that your guild would keep it safe." interrupted Mikaris. "How intriguing."

"Wh-what!?" said Jellal in amazement. "How did you!?"

"Know?" finished Mikaris. "It's a simple matter for a level 5 esper such as myself with Ability Enhancement Armor (A.E.A for short) to read your mind in it's stressed state, you almost had me though, the electric signals were all jumbled up."

Jellal was speechless, he had never gone up against nonmagic users like these before...these so called...espers.

"Funny, I can see my Earthland counterpart clearly in your mind." said Mikaris. "It appears she has defied all logic by finding a way to use magic in conjunction with her esper ability. I shall have to look into that when the science bureau is dissecting the remains of your precious guild."

Mikaris pointed her mech gauntlett at Jellal. A hatch opened up on it, and what appeared to be a gun barrel extended out of the top and pointed at the prince.

"This is Armor Enhanced Railgun." said Mikaris. "It contains bullets comprised of a highly magnetic, lightweight, and durable metal found only in my world. By using my electromagnetic propulsion abilities, one shot at full strength would be enough to destroy a building the size of this castle...I think I will only need to fire at 20 % to kill you."

"Kill me if you want." said Jellal. "But just know that underestimating Fairy Tail is a big mistake. Not even an army will be able to prepare for what's coming."

"Yes, I am well aware of that sentiment of Earthland Fairy Tail's supposed invincible will and caring for their loved ones....but emotions are nothing but pathetic distractions from the real fight." said Mikaris. "Against this invasion, their love will fail them."

"And just what is this real fight?" said Jellal. "You think it's the physical battle, but I can  see inside you are merely blocking the truth...blocking the hurt."

"I have no interest in what you are saying." said Mikaris. However, the gauntlett that was currently pointing the A.E.R (Armor Enhanced Railgun) at Jellal was shaking slightly.

"Or so you would like me to believe." said Jellal. "But tell me Mikaris Misaka...how did a girl of such a young age, lose an eye so early in life?"

A small tear came out of Mikaris's eye as she put her left hand over her eye patch. "Don't toy with me scum...you are all property of Psychic City now...and property would be wise to hold their tongue in the presence of their masters."

Mikaris retracted her gun and kicked Jellal down hard. Jellal fell to his knees, but still he smiled. "You try to act like you feel no emotion...but despite all those magicians you say you killed...you just spared my life."

"Of course." said Mikaris. "I have to have some form of entertainment when I get bored."

As Mikaris spoke, several soldiers in what appeared to be high tech mech uniforms similar to what you would see in a futuristic video game walked out of the hole in the wall of the balconly and pointed their guns at Jellal.

"General, Ma'am!" shouted one of the men through his staticy radio comlinks in the helmet that completely obscured his face. "Shall we detain the prisoner?"

"Yes..." said Mikaris. "Turn him over to General Kanzaki...she needs something to do."

"Ma'am, the Psychic Supreme also demands a personal report from you." said a second soldier. "Shall we call a shuttle?"

"Very well." said Mikaris. "But it's going to be a very short report.." Mikaris looked around the old fashioned city that was being demolished around her. "Our enemy hasn't a chance at victory...however..."

Mikaris gave a serious look to the soldiers and handed them a banner with an insignia on it. "Should you see any who bear this mark...destroy with extreme predjudice."

The soldier took the banner and looked at the insignia. The insignia was shaped that of a prancing fairy...the symbol of Fairy Tail.
