Chapter 20

The smell of coffee filled the air, its heaven! My long raven hair is tied in a messy bun.

Im afraid i wont be able to order anything in this coffee shop, its just too expensive!
I only came here cause jane mentioned last week that she always come here at this early morning hour. I felt horrible for leaving without saying goodbye, after dinner, I remembered that my landlady will really throw my things out.

As if on cue, Jane entered the shop, her golden brown hair cascaded and complemented her earth colored dress.

I noticed she's with someone..

I've seen him before.

I watched as they sat where the light is dimm making it hard for me to see the familiar man.

Jane POV

"So you're telling me, that you Drake Xanders is afraid of spiders?" I giggled as he ranted about the insect.

"Actually im not, its just lovely to hear you laugh"

"Oh look a spider!" I pointed at the wall behind him.

"Where??" He stood up, startled.

Again I burst out laughing.

"Actually, its just lovely to see you scared" I mimicked.

"Real nice" he sat down.

"Jane?"

Sarah?

Im relieved to see that she's okay.

"Sarah, its nice to see you, come join us" I said cheerfully.

"Oh its okay, by the way jane, thank you for helping me last week and im so sorry i left like that, i had my reason" she said. I wish I could help.

"Its okay"
"Oh Drake this is Sarah, and Sarah this is Drake, my umm.. friend"

"Im starting to hate the word friend" he commented.

I always got the feeling he hates it, i guess im right.

"Did i say that out loud? My bad" he continued.

"I've seen you before" sarah said.

"You're that guy... alleyway-" her eyes were as wide as saucers..

The alleyway? Its where I found her.. almost lifeless

"Im sorry, I have to go jane, and-" she looked terrified.

I glanced at Drake, his normal cheery expression is now... serious, its scary.

"He's not.. he's" she staggered as she left the coffee shop.

This really bothers me..

"What was that about???" I asked.

"I dont even know her" he replied.

"Are you sure?? She seemed really scared of you"

I dont want to think that he has something to do with that alleyway.

"Who is that girl anyway? Do you really know her?" He asked.

"I met her last week"

"I think she needs help Jane, medical help"

Sarah POV

that guy! He's a vampire! I didnt even had the chance to warn jane.

Am i crazy?  Have i really gone mad??

"Calm down, i'll help you"

Its the other guy.
