Finally found a girl to play Anya! Deepika Padukone 😍 Let's just pretend she has hazel eyes. For the male lead, I will not be assigning a specific character. Just use your imagination!
**"You're pregnant?" He said shocked, his green eyes growing bigger than I ever thought they could.
I nodded, tucking my dark brown hair behind my ear. I was probably blushing like crazy.
He scratched the back of his neck, showing off beautiful toned arms. His muscles were basically bursting out of his blue dress-shirt.
"Congrats, I guess," he said akwardly.
"Thanks," I replied shyly.
"Who's the lucky guy? Your files didn't say anything about a husband."
I stood there debating as to what I should do. Should I tell him?
"Can we talk? Alone," I added quickly, noticing that the whole floor of employees was curiously staring at us.
He nodded and led me towards his office.
Before I said anything he broke the ice.
"I know you're the girl I hooked up with at that bar. I just didn't want to make you uncomfortable by bringing it up. Don't worry though, I won't tell your boyfriend that you're cheating on him," he said, trying to reassure me. "I would, however, appreciate confidentiality regarding this.. situation" he added seriously.
WHAT? He thinks I'm cheating on a man that doesn't exist. Oh lord help me.
"As far as I'm concerned, you're the only man I've ever hooked up with," I rushed out, not wanting to see his expression.
When I finally looked up he had a shocked expression on his beautiful face. His mouth slightly open and his face caught off guard.
"So.." he finally started, "The baby is mine?" He said starstruck, leaning against his sleek desk.
Did he seriously not even remember taking my v-card? How pitiful.
I nodded and started rambling like an idiot.
"I- I knew you wouldn't want the baby so I think we should just split custody. Unless you have another idea, which I would totally be open to, you know?" I rushed out, having to take a breath.
"Hold up," he said, waving his hands to call me down. "Our child will not be switching between your house and mine. He or she will live with the both of us," he finalized, without my consent, might I add.
"Whoa," I said, furious, "What makes you think we're going to get married and live together? Don't you at least have to ask me first!?" I all but yelled in his face. I blame the hormones. Always blame the hormones.
"Hey," he said defensively. "I never said anything about getting married. I just said we should live together, as a suggestion, you know? This is my child as well and I want he or she to grow up in a loving environment, where the father and mother get along. I want to be in this with you," he explained his reasoning.
"If I don't want to move in with you?" I said daringly.
"Then I fire you, simple," he said casually. He looked unfazed as he flipped through documents.
I gasped. "You wouldn't dare," I squinted my eyes, trying to intimidate him.
"Watch me," he said, challenging me.
As much as I knew he wouldn't do that, I couldn't take the chance. Doing this for the baby, I reminded myself. I needed the money.
"I'll move in," I said reluctantly, averting my eyes from his. "With a few conditions," I added, which sparked his curiosity.
"Do tell," he said mockingly, crossing his strong arms.
"First of all, I'm sleeping in a seperate bed from you. Second, please no bringing any girls to the house, keep your affairs private," He seemed to find that last one very amusing, "And lastly, no falling in love with me," I said seriously.
"All of these terms seem quite reasonable but I think there are some things you might want to know. We must pretend to be an actual couple in front of paparazzi or else they won't stop bothering our personal lives," He sighed, fed up. "Also, I haven't dated anyone for quite a while," he said smiling.
"But the girl you brought with you at Marlow's?" I said confusedly.
The moment those words left my lips he burst out laughing. Oh my, he had a beautiful laugh. Beautiful white teeth shone back at me and I was temporarily blinded by his beauty. And his teeth.
He laughed for a solid minute, and although I tried to act annoyed, it wasn't long until I cracked a smile as well.
"Oh god she's going to laugh when she hears this," he said, wiping away a tear.
I glared at him.
"Jealous darling? Because the woman you mistoook as my girlfriend, is actually my younger sister, Jess," he said, and I could tell a laugh was threatening to come out again.
My cheeks flushed in embarrassment. Oh god. Now he's going to think I'm some needy bitçh who will constantly want his attention.
"Don't be embarrassed darling. It's an honest mistake."
"Whatever," I muttered.
"Well I'm assuming you want to quit work now?" He asked.
"Absolutely not! How do you think I'll afford to pay the bills for my old house? Just because I'm staying with you doesn't mean I'm selling my old house," I said, not wanting to leave quite yet.
"To be honest, you don't really have to pay for anything now. I'm a billionaire remember? I can easily set up a plan that covers your old house as well. That way you can keep your hard earned money for yourself," he said in a buisness tone, shocking me once again at his kindness.
"I.. I would appreciate that very much. Thanks," I said, truly meaning it.
"I will continue to let you work on one condition. You must quit before you are six months pregnant. Normally it is much later but because this is my child I want to be extra careful" and he looked like he wasn't budging on that so I decided not to argue and just go with the flow.
"Fine."
"I'll begin with bringing a moving truck to your house. You can go with them to see what exactly they're bringing but as far as I'm concerned, you're living in my house now, and I look forward to seeing you there," he winked at me.
