•DANIELS POV•
"Happy anniversary babe!" I exclaim. "I can't believe it was three years ago that you asked me out...
He continues to pull me up the hill, running as fast as he can. I'm panting, trying my hardest to keep up.
"Corbyn! Slow down! Please!" I manage to get out between breaths.
"But we're gonna miss the sunset!" He exclaimed excitedly. I sigh in defeat and keep running. We eventually make it to the top of the hill and I practically collapse. I lift my head up and suddenly gasp, my mouth opening in awe. The sunset has turned the sky multiple shades of blue, purple and orange, casting a glow through the trees that looks so stunning, you'd think it was painting.
"H-how did you not tell me or the boys about this place earlier!" I exclaim, struggling to find words.
"I was waiting for the right moment" he responds. I look at him confused.
"The right moment for what?" I ask.
"The right moment to do this." He picks a tulip from the ground next to him and holds it out to me. "Daniel Seavey, I've liked you for the longest time. You are one of the sweetest most handsome people I've ever met. Would you like to go on a date with me?" I cover my mouth in shock, grabbing the flower from his hand.
"Of course!" I exclaim, jumping into his arms. That was only the beginning....I remember when we announced our relationship to the public...
"You sure about this babe?" He asks one last time. I take a deep breathe and nod my head. We've been dating two months now. It's about time the fans know. The anticipation practically eats me alive as soon as he hits the 'post' button on Instagram as we wait for the comments to roll in. We posted a picture of him kissing me on the cheek with the caption
"It's official!"
I waited. And waited. And waited. The comments soon begin to appear, one by one. I begin to read them.
"OMG MY OTP"
"So cute!"
"YES"
"Finally!"
"We support you!"
Thank god for our amazing fanbase. I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding before turning to Corbyn and giving him a large grin. He smiles back and gives me a quick peck on the lips. "We have such supportive fans" he says. "I told you they'd accept us."...And when we did happen to get some hate, you were always there to cheer me up...
Another salty tear falls down my tear stained face. I turn off my phone, throwing it down onto the bed. There were a few hate comments on our newest post, and while about 90% of the comments were positive, the bad ones really got to me. I let out a quiet sob. Maybe the fans are right. Maybe I'm not good enough for Corbyn. As if on cue, I hear his quick footsteps coming down the hall. He slams the door open and runs over to the bed.
"Babe what's wrong?" He asks.
"H-hate" I mumble. He engulfs me in a warm comforting hug.
"Darling, you know that nothing they say is true. I love you, and nothing can stop that. Not even those fake fans. You are perfect. Your handsome and sweet and incredibly talented. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend." I smile and tackle him onto the bed.
"Thank you babe. I love you too."...And I remember our last night."
I watch in fear as the headlights move towards me at full speed. A drunk driver. I'm frozen in fear as I practically see my entire life flash before my eyes.
Until I feel a hand on my back, pushing me out of the way.
The headlights aren't coming towards me now.
They are going towards him.
"CORBYN!"
Crash. "I love you."By now, I can feel the tears falling down my face. I place a flower on the grave and stand up, brushing off my pants.
Our third anniversary, our first without him here.
"I'll never stop loving you, no matter how far away you are."
Nothing will ever be the same.
