I'm slowly disappearing.
Soon I'll just be a single whisper.
I'll be gone just like that.
No one will notice,
and no one will care.
Why would they?
Why would anyone care if I died?
Why would anyone bother to wonder what happened to me?
Did I suffer?
Was it an accident?
Self done?
Murder?

The girl they barely even knew the name of.
They didn't care enough to ask.

Jessica?
Britt?

But soon, it'd be written on a tombstone.
And then,
then they would care.
Then they would know her name.
They would know how and why she died.
They'd cry as if they knew her.
They'd cry as if they cared about her.
And they'd cry as if they noticed her.
