"They got Jimmy. The last time I saw him he was unharmed and alive, but that was 2 hours ago."
Who were these strange people? What did they want with Jimmy? Why was Jack in that alleyway? How did that man know my name? What does RHW stand for? What is going on?
"Jane what did these men look like?"
"Well they were in dark red suits with gold threading. I didn’t catch what the pattern was.”
"RHW," I said under my breath.
Jane managed to stand up and I walked her to the car. When we got there Jack was wide awake. I started driving to the hospital. I would take Jane there, and then Jack and I were going to the police station to sort this out.
We arrived and they got Jane a room right away. I didn’t want to leave Jane, but Jimmy needed my help now. We said goodbye and we were off to the police station.
"Jack you're going to have a lot of explaining to do.”
"Yeah Daddy, I know. Trust me you'll be hearing the whole story.”
We got to the station and I knew something was wrong. There were no cars in the parking lot. We walked in and all the lights were shut off. There was no one to be seen.
"Daddy, I'm scared," Jack whispered his voice filled with fear.
I looked around and noticed a big envelope on the chief's desk. It was dark red like the suit of the man. I was the chief's right-hand man and I had permission to open anything on his desk.
I picked it up and immediately noticed those three letters again, RHW. These letters have haunted me my whole life (or at least the part I could remember). Maybe I would finally find the truth, find out about my past. I opened the envelope and nearly fainted when I read the contents.
