"Lay the facts on me. I can handle it.”

She took a deep breath.

"Well, you know Jimmy was home sick. I was in the kitchen getting him soup. All of the sudden, I heard a crash. I went running into Jimmy's room. There stood two men in dark red suits with gold lettering. When Jimmy saw them, he smiled and stood up. He started walking toward them, but I jumped in front of him. One of the men took out a blackjack and whacked me in the side of the head with it. I stumbled away and blacked out just after I saw Jimmy leave with them."

It took me a minute to process all of this.

"Ok thanks honey. Feel better," was my only reply.

I hung up, and started the car again. I had some time to think before we got to the alley. So Jack's story matched up with Jane’s story, sort of. One thing was the same. Somehow Jimmy knew these men beforehand, but how? We finally reached the alley

"Jack, stay in the car," I said sternly.

"Aww but Daddy I wanna come," he whined.

"No, it's too dangerous. Stay."

I got out and locked the door for good measures. I walked down the alley, cautiously. I stood at the spot where the man had disappeared earlier. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, until the ground fell out from underneath me. I felt myself going down a slide. I tried to stop myself by grabbing the edges many times, but it was no use. I kept gaining speed instead of slowing down. The slide was coated with something slippery.

It felt like forever until I reached the bottom. I got a quick glance at the lit room, before I flew out of the slide and hit the wall. I fell on the ground, exhausted, and passed out.
