I opened my eyes a tiny bit. My head was throbbing from the injury and was stuck to the ground with blood. I managed to pull my head up and saw that I was once again, alone. I looked down at my belt and saw that they had taken everything, my cell phone, my gun, my handcuffs, my pepper spray, everything except my flashlight.... that didn't have batteries. Wow, a cop is always supposed to be prepared and I didn't have batteries. I always used the flashlight on my phone.

I got up slowly, wincing a bit from the pain in my head. I was in a different room now, but still in a jail cell. I looked at the lock and saw that it could easily be picked open, if I had something to pick it open with. That's when it hit me. The flashlight I had. I could use the wires in it to pick the lock. It might not work. Might electrocute me and kill me, but what's life without a little risk? Luckily my lock picking skills didn’t fail me. I always wondered how I could do it so easily.

I slowly proceeded down the hall to my left. Suddenly a shadow started coming from the other direction. I had nowhere to hide so I held my hands up to defend myself if necessary. Then Semaj came into view. He stopped when he saw me.

"Well well, look who's awake," he said holding back a grin.

Suddenly, there was a huge crash and the hallway filled with dust. When it finally went away, we could see a boy wearing a metal suit and a giant hole in the wall.

"Gosh darn it Billy, you broke the wall," Samej said in disgust.

"S-sorry boss," the young boy stuttered.

Semaj just shook his head and looked back at me.

"Billy here is our newest recruit. He's our test monkey for indestructible suits. Of course he didn't join willingly. We ... persuaded him into joining."

"You mean blackmailed him?"

"You could put it that way. Now enough about Billy," he said, turning away from the boy who was still lying on the floor. "Let's talk about you," he said putting his arm around me and pulling me back the way I came. He brought me to a table and we both sat down.

"You get three questions," he said.

I thought long and hard about the questions. I knew one would be about my past. The second would be about the missing cops. What would my third be? Then it dawned on me.

"Ok, my first question. What does my past have to do with you guys?"

"Oh James, your past has everything to do with it. However, you must wait till later to find out the details. Next?" he asked obnoxiously.

"Fine," I said annoyed, "What happened to the rest of the cops?"

"They were captured by the many other men and women of the RHW and brought here. We needed to make you less powerful and losing your buddies helped. What’s your final question?"

This is it. I had to make it count.

"What does RHW stand for?"

He stared at me for a moment. Then he pressed a red button. Three women in lab coats rushed in with syringes filled with a strange substance ready to be injected. My guess was into me. I was right. Whatever they put into me was making me sleepy, very sleepy. I collapsed on the floor barely staying awake.

"The answer to your question my friend is..."

I never caught the last part of his sentence before I was out, again. I was getting pretty sick of getting knocked out.
