Not wasting another moment after that, Finn took Millie down to the diner. But not without Mathilda

"Okay it's great that you've found the love of your life again but you can't just leave me back here all alone!"

She protested

"You've stayed home plenty of times?"

Finn said making his statement sound more like a question

"Well I'm not this time, I've got to find out what my new mom is like!"

She said, pushing past Finn and catching up with Millie

Getting to the diner Mathilda sat down in a booth excitedly pointing to the seat in-front of her motioning for Millie to sit down in as Finn went to order some food, and have a talk with Benny. However, Benny beat him to it.

"Finn! It's Saturday, you only work the day shifts on weekdays."

Finn was about to explain, but more questions were fired at him

"Who's the lovely lady you've brought in? Have you finally gotten yourself a girlfriend?"

Benny said, emphasizing the word 'finally'. But this only made Millie smile, because Benny's statement brought her to believe that Finn hadn't had been with anyone else. But Finn quickly pushed Benny to the back, he now had to explain everything to Benny.

"There's some things I've got to tell you.."

He trailed off, but Benny didn't catch on to his serious tone quite yet

"You bet your ass you do! You've been here for almost a year and you're only just now getting someone to keep you warm at night?!"

He said, still obviously quite happy for Finn. Benny also knew about Mathilda and agreed not to tell the cops, he thought it was nice that Finn was like a dad to her, and Mathilda even called him 'Uncle Ben'

"About that, you remember how when we first met I told you about my history with Juve?"

Benny nodded, pulling up a chair for Finn as he started to cook up a meal

"Well I didn't tell you everything, but this is a long story, so if you don't mind I'm just gonna sum it up."

Without any response, Finn continued

"The night I was thrown in Juve was when I first met her, she was high as hell but there was instantly something about her that made me need her. Juve was a hell of a ride for us, rapists, psychos, fuck boys, we couldn't handle it all, we just wanted to be together, and free. So we escaped, all the way down to California. We were so in love at this point, but nothing good lasts. The best night of our lives quickly turned to the worst, and the next day during our court trail we were sentenced to 5 more years, but in separate Juvenile detention centers. Our lasts moments were filled with tears and loud sobs, and now here we are, it's been almost six years since we've both been freed and somehow miraculously we've found each other, I need to catch up with her, I've missed her like hell. Think you could occupy Mathilda while I catch up with her?"
