'I FINALLY FEEL LOVED'

It was a quiet Sunday night, Finn Millie and Mathilda were sitting down on the couch watching 'the shining', since it just so happened to be the movie that was on after they got home. They had had a fun and fufilling day together, from the carnival, to a burger joint for lunch to ice skating- their day was full of laughter and smiles. Mathilda felt so happy, so content; like she finally had a family.

Finn and Millie were like her new Mom and Dad, and they were much better than her old parents. who would be constantly fighting or fucking. Finn didn't hit her like her old Dad, Millie actually cared for her unlike her old Mom. And the love and amount of care she recieved from them made her feel whole again. Once again, like she had a new and improved family.

Millie was also very content with being a mother like figure to Mathilda. Even though the thought of having or even taking care of a kid had ever crossed Millie's mind, taking care of Mathilda made her heart warm; she felt like she was doing something right for once.

Mathilda sat in between Millie and Finn on the couch, which they didn't mind at all. just the fact that they we're all together, so untroubled and peaceful, made the sitution that much better.

After the movie had ended, Mathilda spoke a soft:

"Thank you"

in a way, taking Millie and Finn back. Millie was the first to respond with a simple 'for what?'

"just, for everything. for being my new family, for taking me in, for accepting me. and most of all, for being the best parents i've ever had."

Finn and Millie took a glance at one another, both of their eyes glazed over with happiness.

"Mathilda sweetie,"

Millie started, turning her glossy eyes over to her 'daughter'

"For one, I'm so glad that I've been reunited with Finn. but being with you, and being like a mother to you, it's the best feeling ever. I had never really thought about even even taking care of a kid. but here i am, telling you that i'm happy to be your new mom and that-"

she hesitated for a moment, unsure if this was the right time to say it

"I love you"

a single, joyful tear, spilled out of Mathilda's eye as she embraced Millie in a suffocating hug. Finn watched his amazing girlfriend and new daughter hug each other to death as he has the biggest grin plastered across his face. Mathilda made him happy, being with Millie again made him even happier. but seeing the two of them, happy together; that had to be one of the best moments of his life.

Sharing one big group hug before they all wen to bed, they slept contently knowing that their new daughter was so happy with them.

Also, I wrote this on my Chromebook during school so, this chapter isn't proofread :))

Short as FUCK chapter because bloody hell man Stranger Things season two comes out in like 9 hours and I can't write (or doing anything) properly anymore
