"What?" Andrew asked in disbelief, shaking his head. "That can't be God! There's no way.""Oh it is God, Andrew. I told you that he'd come through for us, didn't I? Well, I guess he made it just in time." Noelle smiled, her expression happy and relieved.
"But...that's actually God?" Noelle nodded in response, unable to hold in the few chuckles that escaped her mouth.
Andrew was about to ask Noelle something else before he heard Satan raise his voice slightly. "Hah. You really think that with the help of that angel and human, you can win against me? Oh please, I can just have my demons take care of them if that's the case. You know that, right?"
"Oh but it's not that simple Satan, did you honestly think I'd come here if I didn't have any sort of backup? Well, I'm sorry to disappoint but....I hope you don't mind the company I brought with me!"
Another loud crackle of thunder was heard. But this time, a bolt of lightning split the sky as if opening it up into two. Hoards of angels flew in through the crack in the sky and immediately started fighting the demons in the vicinity.
"From where did all these angels even come from?" Andrew asked, looking at the sight in wonder.
"But...you were all imprisoned, weren't you? How'd you escape so soon?" Satan looked around in slight shock at the mass of angels and demons fighting all around them.
"Well, you're not the only one with a few tricks up your sleeve. Now, let's say we get this show on the road, shall we?" God pulled his own sword out from thin air and gripped it tightly.
Nodding slightly, Satan gripped his own sword and soon, only the blur of their swords crashing together could be seen.
"Hmm I guess we should join in, shouldn't we?" Noelle looked at Andrew with a small smile on her face. It looked like she had been rejuvenated by just being in the presence of God and even Andrew felt an overwhelming amount of warmth and strength fill him.
Before Andrew could reply, Noelle quickly stood up and joined the fight. For a second, Andrew just watched Noelle and God fight together against Satan. He saw the way Satan liked to swing his sword, the way Noelle's eyes had hardened as she clanged her sword against his and finally, the way God gracefully fenced with Satan. They made fighting look almost beautiful in a way.
Shaking his head as if to abandon all thoughts, Andrew jumped up and joined the fight as well. Adding Andrew's sword into the mix, the three of them fought Satan into a corner.
Okay listen, it's time to finish him off. You're both going to have to concentrate your energy into my sword so that all our powers will be combined and thus, be effective.
God's voice echoed in both Noelle's and Andrew's mind making them slightly jump before Noelle quickly nodded in ascent. "Wait, what's going on? Did you just speak to me in my mind?" Andrew asked, in utter shock.
"Yes he did Andrew, but we can talk about that later. For now, we have to help him, okay?" Noelle whispered.
Taking a deep breath, Andrew nodded slightly before whispering, "but how do I concentrate my energy or whatever?"
"Just concentrate on the sword, try to direct your energy towards it and it should work. As long as you want that to happen and you try doing it, I'm sure it will work. So, don't worry."
Andrew almost replied that she was being way too confident in his abilities before he saw the look on her face. Her eyes were hard as she glanced at Satan but as soon as she looked back at Andrew, her eyes softened drastically. He could see that she really was confident that he could do it if he really tried and concentrated on it.
